Probably not the best winter tyres on snow or ice out there... but they make up for it as they're amazing in the dry for a winter tyre!! Recommended if you live in areas that dont get a lot of snow, but you want the priece of mind winter tyres offer

Subaru diesel Outback. Original Yokohama Geolanders worn out at 24,000 miles. ATS advised try the Pilot Alpin and they have been fabulous. I do 24,000 miles a year and a lot of off road forestry work. They now need replacing after 40,000 miles but I'm finding it hard to get a supplier. ATS tell me they are not in stock at Michelin.
I do not want to go back to Yokohama as although cheaper to fit they cost more over time.

michelin piliot alpin the best allseason tyre on the market extremly long lasting considerin my style of driving realy even wear compared to other competetors on the market such as vredstein which wears heavily on the shoulders of the tyre limiting ultimate milage.
michelin alpin has the technology of michelin a higher carbon content which makes the tyre slightly harder but doubles the milage.. a must buy...
