The Pirelli Cinturato AllSeason's more reliable strengths are aquaplaning resistance and some dry and wet braking results, while snow braking and wear repeatedly limit its overall standing. It won Auto Zeitung's 2014 all-season test and was third of ten with Auto Bild in 2015, but later full tests were usually lower. Auto Express found the shortest dry stop in 2015, while Auto Zeitung placed wet braking third of eleven in 2017. Aquaplaning earned praise in several tests, including third of eleven in Auto Zeitung's 2017 straight-line measurement.
Snow performance is inconsistent, with good snow verdicts from Auto Bild in 2016 and 2017 unusually favourable beside repeated criticism elsewhere. Auto Zeitung recorded the longest snow stop of eleven in 2017, 17.5% behind the best, and Auto Express found snow braking and handling last in 2015. Auto Bild's 2017 worn-tyre comparison found snow performance deteriorated below 4 mm. Wear also drew repeated criticism, with ninth of twelve for projected mileage in Auto Bild's 2017 205/55 R16 test and the highest wear in its 2016 test. Wet handling is less secure than wet braking, with understeer or poor handling noted by several testers. The early win and strong braking results therefore do not establish a consistently balanced all-season record.

The Pirelli Cinturato All Season is a very well balanced tyre, but it fails to excel in any particular area.
When developing the Pirelli Cinturato All Season, Pirelli concentrated on dry and wet performance, and this test highlights exactly that. Finishing no more than 5% away from the best in the dry and wet tests, the Pirelli wins dry braking and finishes just 0.3% behind the Vredestein in dry handling. Sadly, the snow performance doesn't make the Pirelli a well rounded tyre, and it finishes only in front of the Bridgestone in snow traction and circle, and last overall in snow handling and braking. It's worth noting these snow scores are still way ahead of the summer tyre, so the Pirelli shouldn't be discounted as an excellent year round tyre for the south of the UK.
