After watching the comments and the comparative tests on the internet, I decided to buy it, but I was especially disappointed in the braking and aquaplaning. On very light muddy ground, which is not even wet, the vehicle enters ABS even at low speeds with little braking. In similar road conditions, the vehicle is prone to aquaplaning even with very light gas when starting. There are 2 types of rim/tire ratios on my vehicle. These are 215/60/17 and 225/45/19... I bought 215/50/19 because I did not want to change the rim. The tire's change ratio is around 1... I have not tried it on snowy ground yet

Very good universal tyre. I drive more then 60k km in 3y and I would buy them again. I drive 50km every day on average speed and good road. There is alway one but - be carefull, on 3rd winter they were NOT good on any icy/snowy road even i do not have too much snow and ice in area, except in the mornings, evenings or so.
After few very unpleasent situations I have decided to buy winter tyres and to keep this one as summer tyres for next year, but I think this is it, 60-70k km is end of their life.
As summer tyre they are not excellent, just very good. But as I say I would buy them again.
Very impressed all round with this tyre, so much so I bought them for the rear of the car
Had to wet brake at 50mph and stopped very quick. Had goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 5 on before and honestly think these yokohama are equal. Feel very safe on wet Motorway and very comfortable. Very good grip in cornering dry and wet. By far the best tyre I've had they really shine in the wet.
Best tyres I've had so far, 70mph on wet motorway with no problems. Grips like no tomorrow and very comfortable. Definitely not a sporty tyre but it's advertised as a grand touring tyre.
Have only covered about 60 miles on these on a mix of motorway and town and I must say they have transformed the car into a more pleasant place too be. No experience of them in the wet yet but very good in the dry. Super comfortable and quiet compared to the goodyears I had on before, currently have michelin pilot sport 4 on rear and have just purchased these yokohama bluearth gt ae51 again too replace the michelin as it's a family car not a 2l hot hatchback. Definitely recommend too anyone who's looking for great grip and comfort at a reasonable price.
