Autogrip P308 Plus 215-40-17 SEAT Ibiza 1.4TSI ACT 4,000 miles July 28, 2025

I didn't put them on by choice, the dealer I bought the car from had them fitted to get the car through the MOT. In the dry they are fine apart for under heavy acceleration where the EPC tends to cut in in 1st and 2nd gear. In the wet, these are honestly the most dangerous tyres I have ever driven on. They lose grip very easily when cornering to the point I've nearly ended up in a ditch several times at low speed and the EPC cuts in during moderate acceleration in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear.
They are probably OK on a lower powered NA car but definitely not a turbocharged one.

Toyo T1R 215-40-17- SEAT Ibiza 1.4TSI ACT 80,000 miles March 23, 2019

Replaced my factory fit P7's up front after 51k with the T1R's - not sure it was the right choice for the car.

Main issues:
- Unsure in the wet - depends fully on road surface
- Factory recommended tire pressure seems too low for these tires - they feel flat and spongy
- Due to above, the cornering is questionable as is braking
- Corner to tight and tire "wobbles" and tries to ping you out of the corner - feels uncontrolled.

The only way I can get past this is running them at 42-44psi - which is not great given the working limit is 50psi...

May be good on other cars, but not on the Ibiza..
