Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
Coming from a wide range of tyres and uses I now have a specific requirement. I want a sporty tyre capable of daily use but also a run through the mountains. It has to be hard wearing for my daily commute but grippy enough for my wants in the corners of the back streets. It has to also be safe in the wet form when I take my family to town.
The previous UC6 ticked this box and the new UC7 is even better.
It goes through country roads with ease and city streets like a normal passenger tyre. The sidewalls are stiff which reduces comfort but it is very quiet.
Grip levels are very predictable with understeer very progressive and oversteer able to be predictable. In the wet, it is faultless but I don't push the matter as they're not ultra high performing tyres.

Are they ultra HP tyres, nope.. Are they fantastic all round tyres, yes! If you need longevity on all types of roads and enough grip for a high HP GT car, this will do the trick.
For the record, my wagon is highly modified and runs over 300awkw on 22psi.

Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
Bought these tyres after toasting through a pair of Pirelli Dragons, had them on a whole year and they have worn really well compared to the Pirelli. In the wet It is possible to break grip under boost turning, but otherwise had no traction issues. Emergency stopping grip is amazing, when combined with EBC greenstuff.

They turn in better and roll better than the older tyres, requiring steering adjustment to driving over the old tyres. No noticeable increase in road noise, very confident in the tyres performance. Would absolutely recommend for any performance AWD vehicle and will purchase them again unless the RT3 is released.
