Had 4 of these put on my 2.0 TDi Passat 2 years ago and i can honestly say that they are an excellent tyre. The grip is excellent though marginally better in the wet (i live in the north of Scotland so no issues there). The only downside is the noise. They were noisy from the outset but as they have worn the noise has increased dramatically, so much so i thought my wheel bearings had gone. 22K later and im now replacing them as a set as the fronts are down to minimum and i cannot bear the noise from the rears. I would use again but nobody currently has them in stock locally and Kwikfit are doing me a deal on Falken ZE914's.

This is the first time I have had these tyres on my Passat. Great handling and fantastic wear. 65000 KM and counting. Twice in the wet they served their puprose. I am looking for a set of new fronts. The two rears are almost brand new. I will replace with exactly the same 235/45/17 W97 based on wear alone.

I had 2 sets of these tyres on my Passat and they were average. I got a good deal when buying and they were superior to the OEM Continentals supplied. I can't decide if it was the tyre or car setup that let the combination down (I suspect a bit of both) but I wasn't overly satisifed. Reasonable grip in the dry, above average in the wet, but noisy, lacking feel and feedback and wore fairly quickly.
