Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Road: For those who want to ride very sportily, the Pirelli Angel GT II is the tyre of choice. Although it does not steer as agilely into corners as the Michelin or Dunlop, it convinces with high cornering stability and neutral steering behavior throughout the lean angle range. Once brought up to temperature, it provides crystal-clear feedback for grip.
Wet: The sporty Angel GT II does not allow itself any weakness in wet conditions. It achieves good to very good values in all test criteria, whether it's cornering speed, braking measurements, or traction. The limit range is very forgiving and announces the grip limit in good time.
Wear: The Pirelli can not only go fast but also go the distance. With excellent wear values on the front and rear tyres, it secures second place in this evaluation category. Proof that fast rubber can now also last a long time.
Conclusion: For sporty riders, the Pirelli Angel GT II is a recommendation. It performs well not only on dry country roads but also in mixed conditions, paired with excellent wear characteristics.

Overall: Very Good..
These make the bike feel light and accurate, lots of confidence, work really well from cold, and allow you to hold a line nicely through the corners with excellent feel. Also really stable, move around less than others over bumps and don't track in tramlines. Decent ride quality if not a little on the stuff side, feeling harsher over bumps on the motorway.

Given 97% while driving a VW Polo 6R 1.6 TDI Bluemotion (180/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 6,800 average miles
I Have worn down my second pair and I made 11.000km with pack. Yes it is hard to belive but it is true. I ride Moto Guzzi Norge 1200cc - it has 245kg and me with 115kg. I drive mainly up on regulations.
The tyre is a beast and must have.

Given 93% while driving a Honda VFR 800 (180/55 R17) on mostly country roads for 11,000 average miles
Have these tires on a "sport touring" VFR800 6gen. Not used for commuting everyday, but rather for all gas no brakes activities when i take it, or used to travel with a pillion and all the luggage for a long distances.
At this point tires have 17k kms on them.
Front tire: Started cupping a little bit @10k from both sides from the center. Center ridge is fine, but you can feel unevenness near it with a finger, or sometimes when tire pressure is high(hot summer day) while cornering.
Rear tire: Held really well considering how many straight up, high speed kms are on it. About third is with a pillion and luggage on. @17k kms rear tire is absolutely squared off and is about 1mm from wear limits.

Had no issues with traction whether its dry or wet. From all these kms i've done with them, just a couple rear slips when rear was obviously too cold and i was expecting it to slip, nothing more. Would buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Yamaha Tracer 700 (180/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
I've driven approximately around 3000 km's now on these tires with my Tracer 700. I must say I'm very satisfied with these Pirelli's. Grip in the dry is as you would expect from a premium tyre. The tyre gives confidence in the corners, without feeling too soft. Also, the rear of the bike never stepped out so far. Grip in the wet is very good with these tyres. On a weekend inthe Eifel in Germany it was pouring rain (we where there already, so we went riding to make the most of our trip). On the twisty roads the tyres boosted my confidence in the bike. Handling was good and braking performance was exceptionnel. I've had no ABS interference with these tyres (as long as you brake in normal circumstances, thus not stomping the brake, but braking progressively). My only concern is the wear. Thread on the tyres is still in very good shape. But since I often commute on the bike (highway) the rear tyre is beginning to square off a bit. With the Dunlop Roadsmart 3's I had on before, I feel it took longer before they started to feel squarly. As compared to the Dunlops the dry grip of the Pirelli's is better. Dunlops stepped out on me on some occasions, Pirelli's did never so far. Wet grip on the Pirelli's is about the same, but braking on the Pirelli's feels a bit more confident.

Given 90% while driving a Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere (160/60 R17) on mostly country roads for 1,000 miles
I've run my bike usually 120-170kph often in rough cement and smooth asphalt. Love the twisties and it shows on my tire wear. I'm confident even in rain or wet roads. I've had no problem so far.

Check out how the BEST all seasons tyres perform against premium summer and winter tyres!
Given 16% while driving a (190/55 R17 R) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
So I have these tyres on my bike, as they came with it from new. The tyres are 190 wide and feel like they are 120 from a 50cc scooter. Absolutely shocking. I used to have a bike with 160 rear tyre that had 100x more grip than these Angel GT II tyres. They’re dreary and hard in the dry, even slipping occasionally for no apparent reason. And in the wet... well skateboard wheels have more grip. I daren’t lean the bike over more than 15 degrees due to fear of the front tyre kicking out; which so far has happened 10 times in 2 months. The only reason I’ve not come off the bike is due to the traction control.
