BMW 120d xdrive with MSport Package Tyre Review Highlights
(i am a 21y/o man so i don't have a lot of experience)when i started to really push the tires on my backroad in both dry and wet i was astonished by how grippy they were regardless of the conditions , you can feel the tire deforming and gripping more and more, since my car is nose heavy the front tires are subject to a lot of load but they still held up beautifully

Dry and cold grip on these was great, and there is plenty of feedback, though that results in a drop in comfort. Grip in the wet is generally ok, and the resistance to aquaplaning is good, but on wet leaves at junctions, expect to get a bit sideways. In past years I've had Vredstein Quatrac, Michelin Cross Climate and Nokian Weatherproof. For comparison, the Vredsteins were the best for grip all-round, but were too soft and so wore down fastest. The Michelins were fine, but not brilliant in any regard, and highest cost. The Nokians were the best in my experience - great all rounders at a good price. The big downside with the Continental AllSeason Contact2 tyres is how easily they get sidewall damage. I've not had one last to the point it's worn down below 3mm yet (my preferred wear limit), as they keep getting bubbles in the sidewalls. We have a lot of potholes around here, but I've not hit any that worried me - I just don't think they're very robust. I'll be trying Toyo Celsius next.

Useless tyre if you ask me. Brand new set on a year ago, all of them are almost at the tread limit. When brand new they gripped reasonably well but after maybe a month or two that went out the window. Horrendous in the wet, 30-40mph understeer on bends in a four wheel drive 1 series. Not very comfortable. One thing I will give them though is they can take a hit, I’ve hit some serious potholes in these and heard some brutal sounds when doing so yet the tyres have been fine, also never had a puncture, could be luck but I’m notorious for bad luck with nails in tyres. Overall though they’ve worn out very fast, don’t grip so well after a thousand or two miles, useless in the wet, not very comfortable and don’t give great road feedback. Disappointed at the lifespan on them if I’m honest.
