BMW M530D Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle NCT5 given 64% (245-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly motorways for 108000 average miles
Initially as a company car, the Fleet Dept had these fitted as standard and advised, as it was my first time with RF's, to stay with Goodyear. A full set in B68 vicinity is ?1100 as a private owner, now.

I am a motorway driver with a sad propensity for driving up my MPG. Over the past 45k have averaged 47mpg.

The tyres on the M5/M6/M40/M42 have been quiet and have quite good grip in the dry. Wet is pants, even given very light right foot action. Almost no perceivable noise, even at higher speeds on non-asphalt surfaces.

Tyres bought at 87k miles and still look OK at 108k - some signs of ageing though.
