BMW Z3M Coupe Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Federal 595EVO given 51% (255-30-20-)
Driving on mostly town for 1500 spirited miles
After replacing 225 40 18 front and 255 35 18 rear Federal RSR semi slick on my BMW Z3M Coupe S54, I put different wheels front-rear, 235 35 19 front, 255 30 20 rear. I put those wheels just to have it for better car looking. First problem was to balance rear tyres. I put on and off tyre from wheel 2-4 times to get even a chance of balancing it. I can see from my eyes that brand new tyre is not straight, it was deformed. But, when I manage to balance it, I could say i'm ok with this tyre.
I do not expect anything, but tyres was ok in feedback, progressiveness, even wear is much better than previous ones.
Generally, I like construction of federal tyres, they have very strong side walls (almost like run-flats) and that gives very good feedback.

Driving on mostly town for 1000 spirited miles
I have this tyres on BMW Z3M Coupe S54, 225 40 18 front, 255 35 18 rear.
In past 1500 miles, mostly fast driving, I am very disappointed... Those are my first semi-slick tyres and I expected to have extra grip. No big difference to any other summer tyre. Braking similar, cornering similar...
Noise is very very intense...
After 1500 miles, I can see clear sights of wear. 30% less profile on the middle and 70% on the inner side. I have some drifts, but to kill tyre in 2000 miles, with no extra performance? Give me a brake!

Driving on track for 250 spirited miles
I recently fitted uniroyal rainsport 3 to my race spec BMW Z3M which I use for track days .
On the first day with new tyres the track started out wet and it rained on and off throughout the day which included some periods with standing water
After a few laps I noticed the grip was far greater than I had previously experienced with other makes to the point where I ignored the wet track braking and turning into corners as if the road was dry
Comments from others "what tyres have you, they are kicking up lots of spray " and from another driver "I couldn't keep up in the corners , I could see your grip levels were high"
Unless the grip disappears with wear I expect to replace them with more of the same

Driving on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
Do not buy!!!! These were on the car not even 1/2 worn when I purchased the car.. Okayish in the dry, but like many others have said on here (first time just reading about these tyres) they are manic... Understear followed by sideways power oversteer at the touch of the throttle! Took them off in under a month and put my good old faithful falken 452's on. Much better/safer/quality tyre for not alot more than these are!!
