Mazda Mazda 3 2004(BK) hatchback 1.6i Tyres

Initially pleased with these tyres and purchased based on the good reviews, road noise in the cabin was quieter and handling in normal city driving was good. Have now been running on them, (both front) on a FWD for 4 months and 2k miles. Have found on a quick take off a tendency for wheels to skid on the road surface wet or dry.
Now, I realise that these are summer tyres but In our recent icy road conditions with the tyres skidding on the surface and with no grip, the smell of burning tyre rubber was overwhelming leading me to believe that the rubber compound on these particular tyres are pretty soft.
I have never had this happen with any other tyres, ever, in all my driving years. I really don't hold out getting any superior mileage from these "premium" rated tyres, maybe okay on the rears but would not purchase for front replacement again.

Grip or wear is fine. Car have done many miles on them (I personaly about 5000) but the COMFORT is 0%. The tyre is way too heavy and strength. Its because of it runflat type. When I changed them for non ROF tyres the comfort went up to 100%.
When I drove over some bumps on the road the car was all shaking. I am sure the suspension was suffering with these tyres.
I would certainly never buy ROF tyres again. Maybe Dunlop M3 are okay, but not ROF..
