i purchased a mercedes 300ce with 11 year old michelins fitted, they still had 80% tread left and looked new but car not used much, decided to change because of age, wanted a quite smooth tyre and was talked into bridgestone turanza serenity plus by the dealer, when i picked up the fitted tyres was concerned how much weight was needed to balance, the invoice said balanced heavy, as soon as i drove the car i knew, they are the worst tyres i have ever had, noisy as and the car drove like a truck, very rough ride, pressures checked, dealer exchanged them for michelin xm2+ at a penalty and it was a different car, smooth and QUITE as, the fitter told me the bridgestones are a very heavy tyre made for long life that is not a priority for me,.
