Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
I bought 2 of these NT8000 for the front of my Saab 9-3 after reading several reviews, my initial impression was excellent, quiet, and the grip in the dry is unbelievably good, I do drive a bit on the hard side, however, after driving in the wet, and lets face it, the UK tends to be more wet than dry, I will be removing them, unless you really enjoy not knowing whether the car will remain on the road they are not for wet weather and in my opinion dangerous. Don't get me wrong, I haven't had issues in the dry, a fantastic dry weather tyre and if we get a long hot summer, they will be going back on.

Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 average miles
I read the prevoius feedback on other models of tyre, As i was skint i took a gamble on these and honestally can say im glad i did as i was WOWed. Thease tyres changed the handling on my car, it seems when i wanted to turn the steering felt so responsive and more free. Driveing doing a ton down motorways in the sleet and rain and they was no aquaplaining at all.

SEEM TO BE A DECENT TYRE FOR THE MONEY £60 EACH FITTED (MATE'S RATES). I DO THINK THAT THEY ARE A BIT HARD, AND THE RIDE QUALITY SUFFERS AS A RESULT, ALTHOUGH I HAD ONLY JUST BOUGHT MY SAAB 93, AND IT MAY BE THE SUSPENSION, BUT IT IS VERY HARSH OVER RUTS AND BUMPS. I HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY ISSUES IN DRY OR WET HANDLING CONDITIONS AND THEY LOOK GOOD!

Writing about the Kumho Ecsta KU39 given 87% (225-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 400 spirited miles
Got the tyres on a 150 Saab Diesel. Replaced Michelin Primacy, the Kumho are almost exactly half the price. In wet and ,noticeably in the damp, these provide more grip. There are certain roundabouts where the front would enter into a slide with the michelin at speed. The Kumhos grip more, haven't had the courage to force the issue because the speeds are getting higher. In the dry my traction control kicks in the same as michelin.

Tyres are not noticably different in terms of noise or feedback. Cannot comment on wear as only had on for 10 days. Have ordered again for the rear, very impressed.

In many ways seem better than the original Continental sports contact 3 tyres (quieter, more feedback and better wet grip) and also the later fitted Michelin tyres

Only had for 5 days so no idea on wear

Driving on mostly motorways for 11 spirited miles
Only had the on the front from start of the year until Sept poss Oct when I will have to replace them due to wear. Cant fault the tyres in the dry or wet, quite quiet and comfortable. The wear however has been very quick; 11,000miles and i'm a hairs breath from the wear bar. Most of the mileage was on fast dual carrageways with a few round abouts thrown in. Have t/c so no wheel spinning! Last few thousand have been A and B roads. As much as I would like to have these tyres on my car, it seems that you pay a price in total mileage achievable especialy on a front heavy, front drive car so I will have to look elsewhere as for the money I want 20k (which I dont think is asking too much).
