Volkswagen VW up black and VW Lupo Tyre Review Highlights
I changed the originals Hankook K415 with the Energy XM2, and I found they have the same behavior than the K415, and have the same noise.
Now that use Michelin, I realize how excellent are the Hankook tyres, and they costs 30% less than the Michelins.
I mean the Michelin tyres are a mith.

Vw Up Black, wearing 16" rims and 6500mls on the clock, we have also owned a VW Lupo 1.4 16V the last 5 yrs.......Wife does the shopping in both and feels confident and comfortable with all aspects of her drive. I have driven an Escort Cosworth at 143mph (3 up) and recently sold my Mazda MX5 1.8is, which was a cracking all rounder, so....I drove the VW Up Black 200 mls through all road conditions, at 70 mph where possible and pushed it down hill on a heavy long and steady bend. These tyres worked ! Grip was instant and total, braking with confidence in a straight line, no noticable road noise and I was waiting for the tyres to give on that bend, nothing.
My only concern so far is possible wear, remembering, the car is usually driven by a responsible lady, front tyres are 6mm across, rear 7mm across which I reckon is going to give us 18000mls front, 21000 mls rear across approx, I am a Michelin fan so will be keeping one eye on situation.
