For me the best tire I've ever had or seen. I don't care of road noise (anyhow it's not that high), I don't care of high wear..., this is the perfect choice for my Subaru Impreza WRX. Dry grip and temperature stability is a miracle, wet grip is very fine concerning the tread design. Okay, noisy, very stiff, fast wearing..., but definitelly I've never seen/owned a better tire for my needs. Had Nokian Z, Potenza 050a, Yokohama s-drive, Dunlop SP3000, Firestone SZ80, Toyo Proxes, Falken 452 before..., but realy none of these can be even compared to RE070 - it's just completelly different class of tire.

My drive is a Honda Civic type R(japan version)
the tyre come with stock, it did so marvellous in dry and also when attacking the corner with high speed... done so well in grip!!
but unfortunately it was too hardcore and uncomfortable for daily use.

This is probably the best tyre for the Subaru Impreza STI, it gives very good feedback, has excellent grip in the dry and good grip in the wet, greasy surfaces are a little interesting but the car does slide predicably.
These tyres like heat, put them out in snow and your going to hit something, they are a summer tyre only, not keen on sub zero temps so I would suggest a set of winter tyres in the colder seasons.
Solid sidewalls give excellent feedback but have a compromise with increased road noise and some tramlining (though newer sets seem better than the originals)
Excellent all round tyre.

Not a good choice for road sidewalls are too stiff and they tend to tramline especially as they wear.
However on track when warmed through the tyres are superb, when R888 are running hot these tyres just go on and on and offer great feedback
