My Astra Sri came with continental Tues which drive like a dream .. I chose Goodyear based on paper rating .. it was just a bad choice .. the handled like a squidgy ball and the road rumble made be want to write off the car .. I changed the fronts to continental sport contact today and instantly I love my car again .. never in my life am I buying Goodyear again 🤬

Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 spirited miles
Got these for my astra j 2.0 cdti Dry grip is excellent . Wet grip is excellent. Comfort as expected in tires this low profile not good. Wear seems good done 8k miles and they still have the little nubs from new on them seem to be wearing very well and I fly up and down some seriously twisty roads daily. Aquaplaning seems to be pretty good obviously the low profile doesn't help. Handling I'd best describe as glued to the road they feel completely stable, no side wall flex steering is ultra precise and the amounts of grip available is plentiful to the point your skill becomes the inhibiting factor. I've had Michelin PS4 and continental premium contact 6 and pzero's and by far the best all-rounders are the Goodyear's I'd say the PS4 might have a slight noise and comfort edge and the slightest edge in the dry but behind considerably in the wet. All in all brilliant tires.
