Volkswagen ID.7 Tyre Review Highlights
Recently got this set of tyres on my VW ID.7 tourer for skiing holiday. Having ridden approximately 2000 km, and now several 100 km in super snowy Dutch conditions, I can clearly state that I am thrilled about the tyre. Comfort/sound compared to summer tyre is similar - the acoustic foam clearly has a huge impact. The ride remains comfy, not super direct, but safe and builds trust. Even on steep mountain roads to the resorts at -10 degrees Celsius, the tyres perform well. They have never let me down during this time. Finally, a few bits of snow were manageable, but hard to give a proper opinion about it. I can definitely recommend the tyre for heavier EVs (not to mention efficiency - seems good for now!)

I have always trusted the Vredestein brand for their winter tires. I chose this brand for all-season tires in the UK. Overall, I find their performance to be excellent, but I was disappointed with the wear on the traction wheels. I fitted 255/45R19 tires on my ID.7 and mostly drive in Eco mode, with slow acceleration and braking through regenerative means. Unfortunately, the tires lasted less than 20,000 miles.
