Avon ZZ3 rated 90% while driving a BMW E39 5 series
Driving on a combination of roads for 9000 spirited miles
Been very happy with my ZZ3s. I bought my 528i with these fitted on the rear, 255/35/17s, so already part worn, and I've done 9000miles now with no concern for wear, I drive every day, I drive hard when the traffic allows, I turn off ASC for some fun sometimes, and yet the tyres are still going strong. I would suspect any issues people may have are due to incorrect suspension geometry on your car.
I'm not looking for replacements yet, but my wifes Saab needs tyres and am considering Avons again or Vredestein Sessanta due to a mate with a 530i highly recommending them too.

Falken FK452 rated 84% while driving a BMW 330 Ci Sport
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
Had a couple of sets of these on my BMW 330Ci. Grip in the dry is excellent, never had it lose grip on me - but haven't tried, either. In the wet the grip is not as good - you can get the back end waggling on the exit roundabouts if you want to/bit aggresive with the throttle, which is part of the reason I chose them again - they're good fun! However, they seem to have enough grip still for emergency stops in the wet, which is reassuring - if I thought they were dangerous I wouldn't buy them. They are comfortable and wear well - approx 15,000 miles for rears, which on a 330Ci is good going. I think some 'Premium' tyres are a bit quieter from what I have read, but I have no complaints about these.

Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme rated 93% while driving a Audi RS6 Quattro
Driving on a combination of roads for 30000 average miles
Fantastic winter tyres fitted November 2009 to an RS6. Kept them on all summer too. Amazing in the winter. Never missed a beat. Gripped well even when the snow was deeper than the ground clearance. No significant use of traction control on steep hills. Feels extremely safe on steep downhill sections. Great sense of satisfaction passing stuck 4x4s on M&S tyres. We live 3 miles from a main road and our road is rarely plowed. Never had a problem getting to work or back home again no matter how bad the weather. Good grip in the summer although a bit more understear on overenthusiastic cornering. tread still legal after 30,000 miles although will need changing soon. Highly recommended
