I've been using Avon tyres for upwards of 7 years on my Ford Fiesta, where the past 18 months I moved to the ZV7s as the previous model was no longer available.
The tyres are more than capable in the dry/wet and i have always felt confident driving in any conditions, however i have never tested the maximum capabilities of the tyres, so i can't comment for those scenarios. However day-to-day driving, the tyres are excellent.
Despite saying this, i would not recommend these tyres. 2 out of my 3 Avon tyres (I had the O/S front replaced during an insurance job and they installed a Continental instead), can be seen to have noticeably worn more in the centre of the tyres than around the edges, especially the with the N/S front. This was highlighted to be today during my MOT, where the centre of the tyres are close to the limit, yet the edges have 5+mm left.
The MOT tester said that this can be caused by overpressuring, however i have always regularly checked my tyres, and i have never had this issue during my 8 odd years of motoring. Looking online i can see that others have experienced the same issue with these new Avon tyres, and so i can only put it down to the tyres.
I am fuming to replacing the tyre after less than 18 months, for which it has covered less than 15,000 miles, especially as the previous model of Avon tyres i never encountered an issue.
I'm now replacing the tyre with a continental to match the other tyre which is less than 2 months old, but it is safe to say i won't be returning back to Avon.

Had several of these tyres the main issue is the compound of the rubber seems degrade very quickly after a year or two they start to crack both in the tread and the sidewall, when taking them back to the fitting centre, usual excuses, temperature fluctuations or low inflation issues .
After two sets of these tyres I think I can rule out this and put it down to very poor manufacturers,
Never ever buy this brand you will regret it.
Tread wear is very good , price budget, but very poor value overall.

I bought them because I need one set of track tyres and one set for normal driving on roads. I didn't want third set of wheels as a winter set of tyres.
I am sad. I should buy Bridgestone All Season 6 instead of this tyres. I bought it because of the very good price but I am not satisfied with grip in various conditions. Wear is very good. They look like not used. Next time I will definitely go for more premium brands.

Just finished my full set of Eagle F1 AS5's just now and they were wonderful. Really a very good tyre, might even be the best tyre I've driven on. Little oversteer, but loads and loads of grip, even in the wet. Well satisfied with how the handled. They were fitted onto a 2012 VW Polo 1.2 TSI with 130hp. Wear lasted for 50.000km with serious cornering. Wasn't gentle on them

They are a good affordable tyre my main issues with them were they struggled for traction when moving off in the damp/wet and they wore down to the legal limit in less than a year but they gripped very well once up to speed in dry and wet conditions and held the road very well.

I'd never heard of Davanti tyres before buying a set of DX640's on an alloy wheel and tyre package 3 years ago.
I've owned my peugeot 206 2 litre diesel for 15 years and over that time I've tried just about every make of tyre including Continentals, Michelins, Yokohamas, Firestones Bridgestones, Nankangs and even BCT's. As expected, they all had their good and bad points but to be honest the car is a nose heavy little lump that eats front tyres for laughs regardless of being continuously fed new wishbones and track rod ends with the tracking always checked and adjusted following any changes but I can quite honestly say these Davanti's are the only tyre that has not only lasted more than two years on the front but are also wearing evenly which is something none of the others ever managed. When they do eventually wear out,I will definitely buy another set as I've been pleasantly surprised with their performance.

The tyres have a very soft sidewall, even with my low 40 profile tyre, this meant that they are comfterable and pretty good in the dry and wet. I had only had budgets or random tyres on my car before these and so when I went on a country road drive the front end felt much better (well duuhh). For the money these have decent performance but there is a major downside to these tyres... If you hit a pothole these tyres will just go, I went through both of my fronts in about 2 months doing a lot of town driving. For this reason I dont' recommend these tyres if you live in an area with bad road (ie the entire of the UK)

Awesome tire, good overall they have given me plenty of grip, handling is good, can be a bit hard but thats expected for the size, can be noisy at times especially on high way drives and can slip when hitting wet patches breaking but overall very good durable tires had them for 3 years now and still going strong
Car came with landsail tyres fitted to rears. Car failed MOT due to dangerously cracked and bulging tyres. Horrified at the poor condition of tyres with around 4mm tread. Unsafe and unsatisfactory. Would not buy Landsail again, at any price.

We’re on the wife’s car when we brought it, less than 4000 miles the inner sidewalls were cracked around 90% of the wall down to the cords.

These tyres came with the car, absolutely shocking grip in wet/damp conditions. Car slides out of control on round abouts and bends. Noticed it feels like the tyres are over-inflated when driving in dry conditions particularly on roundabouts if taken a bit quick. Feel like I can’t drive the car how it’s meant to be driven on B roads without worrying I’ll wind up in a farmers field!
