Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Top 3 Pirelli Scorpion All Season SF3 Reviews

Given 87% while driving a Mercedes Benz GLC220d (235/55 R19) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
new tires replacing the oe pirelli scorpion ( summer) tires , initial report after 1000 miles it that they are good quiet and quite responsive not had any real rain or snow , just very hot roads and they are good but have not gaven them any grief especially in the 30 plug deg heat . I am waiting for the autumn to start and looking forward for some wet/cold weather here in normally muddy wet wales

Given 87% while driving a Skoda Enyaq 80 (235/55 R19) on a combination of roads for 300 spirited miles
Used Cross Climate 2s on my previous cars. Opted for these ones this time as the wet grip on the CC2s was never very great. Loving these new ones so far, stuck to the road nicely.

Given 90% while driving a Volvo XC60 (235/60 R18) on mostly motorways for 4,000 spirited miles
Impeccable on dry and wet. Road feedback could be better. Stopping distances are very satisfactory. Still haven't tried them on snow and ice. Will buy again.

We have now been driving the tyres in the winter period.
We are very impressed. Specially when driving in snow. No difference from winter tyres.

Initial Impressions Review
Given 100% while driving a BMW X3 (235/50 R18) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
I recently bought the tyres and I can affirm those tyres have a very good grip on dry and on wet road. I didn’t try them yet on snowy or icy road.
For now I recommend them, very nice and safe ride.
