235/60 R18 Tyres

I haven’t had a chance to drive to the end of life cause I sold my car. I remember being quite happy with them.
I bought Nokians for my current car that I drive now. Excellent winter tires. However I understand that from 2022 Nokian is manufacturing tires in china for the market that I live in. I believe that I will switch to Michelin winter tires from next season as Nokian quality dropped for market of south east Europe.

Great tyre for casual driving. Very good in the wet, almost as good as a winter tyre in the snow. Great combination of grip levels in Poland's weather conditions (hot summers and mild winters with harsh, snowy and frosty days every now and then). In extremely snowy conditions with a very strong crosswind you could feel them struggle a bit at speeds above 70 mph, but other than that a solid, versatile tyre.

Exceptional comfort levels, but a tad loud compared to either the Pirelli Scorpion or the Michelin Latitude Tour HP tyres of the same size.

Bad ply seperations, bad traction in wet and snow, and had 2 blow out completely on road. They had half tread life left, and the correct pressure in tires pre blow out. Absolute garbage! My advice spend 30% more and get a good U.S.A. made tire.

Generally quite tyre on my kia carnival, soft and comfortable ride with good enough control (not too wobly, given the relatively heavy car). However I notice there are lots rubber chunks missing / dents on the tread on the front tyres, suspect the tread compound is too soft. Back tyres are fine. Noise also relatively good on smooth surface. Overall good enough tyres for daily drive but perhaps not the best if you are expecting very long durability.

Compared to stock tires on a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe these Pirelli Scorpion AS plus 3 tires are night and day better. Because of their solid sure footed feeling on the pavement I remember them initially feeling almost heavier? But more planted and in contact with the road, wet or dry. The tire holds up well when cornering at highway speeds and I just feel more confident in their ability to keep me on the road in most conditions. I have not had the opportunity to test their winter/snow performance as due to the poor performance of the stock tires, I had already invested in a set of Blizzack snow tires and switched off during the winter months, however, the way they handle water, I feel confident they would perform in the top tier of all season tires. I consider my snow tires to be "noisy", not this Pirelli tire which I have put over 30k miles on and the tread looks like I have barely used them. Overall I am very impressed with their performance on this vehicle and this was my first experience with Pirelli. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your Santa Fe in New England weather conditions.

Switching over from Crossclimate 2. Driving around 30,000 km/year. Premium Contact 7 has great handling and much less roll in the corners. The performance in the wet is really good to the point I'm excited for the rainy weather. So far, I've driven around 3,000 km with them, mostly in dry and they perform great - they give the car so much control.
Unfortunately, they feel extremely loud. Especially on the coarse Danish asphalt it feels excessive. When there is a new smooth asphalt, it's perfectly fine, but otherwise there is a constant, noticeable sound coming out of them.
I guess depending on what you're looking for in the tire Premium Contact 7 could be an amazing. If you're after good handling, safety and great performance in the rain, you'll be happy with these. But if you're looking for quiet touring tire, look somewhere else.

Firstly, these are great tires with excellent grip, making them a solid upgrade from my old PremiumContact 6s. Secondly, they make a noticeable howling noise at low speeds up to 60 km/h. I expected less noise from premium tires, but they probably just need a bit more breaking in.
