235/40 R18 Tyres

On road it's like having a semislick which is capable of handling water showers like an UHP tyre. On track you can feel it's not a semislick, but you can enjoy a stable performance allowing you 100% of fun with 80% lap time or something like that.
On the road wear on external shoulder is high, on track it's really impressive lap after lap.

I literally dont have anything to complain about. For the price, I don't think you can get more value for your money.

Good grip, never had a slip, not in dry nor wet circumstances.
I've had tyres that cost 3x more money that dont feel nowhere near as premium.

Bought them to replace Hankook ventus prime 4 (Touring type of tyres), did a bunch of research before buying, they were really cheap ! So i bought them, you notice the difference in handling and cornering immediately, yes they are UHP and they deliver on that, not that the hankook's were inferior but the Kumhos are a different experience during fast cornering. I drive mainly on mountain passes, they stick like glue on the tarmac they hold well on the wet, haven't drove hard yet on really heavy rain but they seem to do great, no aquaplaning as of now. Sidewalls are not hard as a rock but they aren't soft, they don't deform during cornering, riding on them is nice and comfortable. The only negative as a first impression is this, went from a 68db tyre to a 71db on the highway noise is significant worse with those Kumho, you can feel and hear every imperfection of the road, if you care about the noise buy the version with the foam inside I think they call it K version or something.

I've had them for two summers and about 10k kms on a Ford Focus ST250. When I was buying them I was looking for good tires at a fair price and these were the newest model available at the time.

Dry: In the dry they have good traction, predictable handlings and good comfort for a UHP tire. Breakaway is communicated well and they don't surprise you out of nowhere. Lift of oversteer is easily achieved and controlled. They do wheelspin a bit in first gear if you are a bit more enthusiastic with the throttle but that's expected on a more powerful fwd car.

Wet: They have good and predictable grip in the wet, good aquaplaning resistance and stop quite well.

Others: Rim guard is somewhere in the middle, not as big as Bridgestone but better than Hankook. Sidewall design is good, comfort and noise are good for a uhp tire. Wear has also been good for me, I expect to change them due to age and not wear but then again I don't do that many miles a year.

It's a tire I like and would recommend. Price to performance is good. Would consider buying. I got their Wintrac Pro Plus to try this winter so I've been satisfied with Vredesteins as a whole.

Excellent tyres cheaper than PS4's with better grip. Did get a puncture in one but repaired and still good 👍🏾

I've driven the tyres in the winter, but on roads devoid of snow and ice so I can't comment on that. They made me feel very secure, however, I have to say that they are far too sporty for my driving style and needs. They carry a lot of responsibility for my decision to buy the car, as they are very comfortable, quiet and make the car feel very surefooted and responsive in the dry and in the wet.
There is one gripe, though, they have absolutely no rim protection, so I blame them for all the scratching on my wheels. I would expect more from a tyre of this class from a reputable brand, and, honestly, it is a strong enough reason (albeit the only one) for me not to buy them again. In every other aspect they are brilliant, they even equal summer tyres in fuel consumption.

This is the sportiest summer tyre I've ever driven (with the possible exception of Goodyear Assymetric 2), and I am not a very sporty driver anymore ... they just came with the car. They are very responsive and, in the mostly non-extreme circumstances i have put them in, stick to the surface very well in the dry and in the wet, which is not at all surprising. What is, though, is how comfortable and quiet they are. I am using them on a Honda Civic Hybrid and they are contributing to a very comfortable ride even on very rough roads, handling them better than my old Citroen C5. Wet grip is a totally different experience from my last ichelins 25 years ago which made me steer away from the brand ever since.
I basically use the car on motorways, but some local winding B roads sometimes tease me into giving the car a workout and the tyres are very secure (although I cannot say I reach any sort of limit with them).

Think they are worth the money would definitely buy them again and knowing they are made by the same factory as Dunlop shows
