Review Summary
Based on 24 user reviews
Drivers describe the Pace ALVENTI Pace as a budget tyre that can offer strong value, with several higher-scoring reviews praising wet and dry grip and acceptable wear for the money. However, a sizeable group report serious confidence issues-especially high-speed instability/snaking and unsettled handling-making it feel unsuitable for spirited or high-performance driving. A notable minority also mention quality problems such as sidewall bubbles/bulges or inner damage, while road noise is a smaller but recurring complaint.
Strengths
- Good value for money versus premium brands
- Grip and handling described as good in both wet and dry by many higher-scoring reviewers (wet performance especially praised)
- Braking/steering feel acceptable for normal driving
- Wear/longevity can be decent for a budget tyre (when maintained/rotated)
Areas for Improvement
- High-speed instability/"snaking" and unsettled feel
- Especially on more powerful cars
- Inconsistent traction and confidence in wet/slippery conditions for some drivers
- Quality concerns such as sidewall bubbles/bulges or inner tyre damage/air loss
- Noticeable road noise compared with premium/ev-specific tyres

The issue I have is that one tyre kept losing air. I would just pump it up and a few months later my car would give me the same warning light. Then the warning light would appear after about a month then about a fortnight later. I couldn't se anything wrong but fearing I had a puncture, I took it to get repaired. What the tyre repair place showed me was that there were two bulges on the inner side of the tyre. I thought to myself what would happen if this tyre exploded at highway speed? Never will I buy cheap unknown tyres (these tyres came with the used car that I bought about 12 months ago).
I'm going back to the well know premium brands, looking at Michelin Pilot Sport 5 as a replacement. If you are considering these tyres, ask yourself how much is your life worth?
They feel pretty dangerous to me, it's like the sidewall has too much flex in it.
I am going to up the tyre pressures, see if it improves.
I would not buy them again.
They seem to be better in the wet no aquaplaning so far.
My car is off lease in 4 months, if I was keeping it I would be looking to get them checked and replaced.
