Mitsubishi PININ
(215/45 R17)

for 3,000 easy going miles
These were new on a shogun pinin on rear.
It did low mileage especially during covid.
None off road, just tarmac
They were not cheap and european made, so I thought I was buying quality.
Have been treated well and garaged.
They have cracked terribly as I have learnt all Avon tyres do. So avoid this brand!!!
Stop making rubbish tyres that crack before they wore out. It's bad for the environment and everyone except manufacturers.

Replaced a set of conti contacts for these and I'm very impressed so far. Noise is slightly higher but grip levels wet and dry are very impressive. Yet to try snow but I'm sure they will be ok. Would reccomend.

Volvo XC90 D5 185 HP

Used on a Volvo XC90. Front tyres are getting ready for replacement after 23k. Brilliant tyre and last really well. Tried them once in deep ish snow and they were superb. Miles miles better than the Pirelli Verde that they replaced.

Replaced Michelin Latitude Tours on my freelander and these tyres are a great improvement. I have used michelin tyres for ages and been happy, but when they stopped making the Synchrone and 'replaced' it with the Latitude Tour I think it was a mistake. These Avons seem great

The big XC90 eats tyres. These are from the technology of the Ice ranger so i bought them. Great tyre in both winter and summer. So far they have shown fantastic wear for first 10000 miles. Better than Continentals for sure. Going to buy 2 more soon.
