The Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 ticks all of my boxes :
1) Wet : in 1987 I had a nasty accident in my Golf 2 because of aquaplaning, so behaviour in the wet is my main concern. The Turanza is very good in the wet, be it braking, grip, or dispersing water.
2) Dry : I wanted an all season tyre that comes close to a summer tyre. The Turanza delivers.
3) Snow : I live in Flanders where we hardly get any snow. I don't need the best performance in wintery conditions. Compared to my previous experience with winter tyres this tyre clearly isn't as good. But, I just don't want to get stuck in snow, and I haven't so far. I have no experience on ice, though.
4) Comfort : contrary to magazine tests, I find this tyre comfortable and very quiet. Some other testers on this site confirm. Perhaps there's a difference, depending on tyre size. So, FYI front 225/40R19, rear 255/35R19.
Other remarks :
- I've noticed that my car is very neutral through bends on this tyre, no under- or oversteer. Going on/off the gas in a curb doesn't change trajectory, really impressive.
- The only drawback with this tyre is a lack of feedback, it feels numb, no steering feel.
- If I had to change tyres today, I would buy again, as it ticks my boxes.
As a final remark : a big thank you to TyreReviews.com, this is my goto website for tyre info, and a big thank you to all private testers for sharing info. As a thank you I've written this review.

Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

What BMW Bmw drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
The tyres have been used mainly on motorways, in all seasons, with occasional A and B roads during the summer. Grip is accurate and reliable, in all seasons, including heavy rain.( No real snow/ice experience) . The tyres, being run flat , are noisier than regular tyres on motorways and the handling a little stiffer too.
After 26,000 miles they still have 3.5 mm of tread left ,with some minor shoulder wear on the front pair. I'm probably switching to conventional tyres (non run flat) after this winter. Very likely Goodyear's again, although I've also run Bridgestone, on this vehicle too.
Had these fitted 3 years ago and since then done roughly 5500 miles. Not a lot of mileage, but then that's because of my circumstances. (I'm retired and don't do the 1200 mile round trips to and from the continent, 6 times a year. Michelin have been my go to car tyre, since I first had the MXL and MXT on my Volvo.)
The wear has been negligible, gone from 7 mm new to about 6.5 mm today.
Haven't had any snow to speak of here in the UK, but a bit icy one or two days.
Last Christmas went to stay up country, mostly motorway, a trip of 130 miles or so. Not far but the rain was horrendous, it didn't stop at all, roads were flooded and the spray evil. We returned two days later and got similar weather, torrential rain all the way back.
The tyres were great, never thought for one moment that I would loose control. They're quieter than the previous Turanza, which I never thought were safe when cornering, especially in the wet.
These are the first UHP tire I've purchased - they performed excellent in the dry and rain I have full confidence in them in those conditions.
They also did remarkably well in fresh snow, even a few inches deep, and held up ok in slush (although the car does get pushed around). They are absolutely useless on any kind of hard packed and polished snow, and especially useless on ice.
Car is a 2015 328d xdrive wagon.
Good tyre all round. Would buy again price depending. They are a little firm and noisier than i think they should be, but overall good.
Just got these for my X5 F15 in 315/35/20 Rear and 275/40/20 Front.
Right off the bat they are louder than the winter set i had on and they are much firmer than I had thought they'd be. To me it doesn't matter that much, however I note it as I know that many drivers prefer comfort.
This is an initial impression and ignoring the slightly higher road noise they are very responsive, car feels more planted and snappier.
Even tho they are quite firm, at speed, bumps are absorbed quite well.
Let's see how they get through the summer 2026 and I might update this toward autumn.
My current experience with Pirelli P Zero All Season tires on my BMW has been much worse. They're factory-fitted, but the car's handling is unpredictable. Some days, it's bearable, while others, tramlining (following road grooves) terribly on the same roads at the same speed, seemingly temperature or maybe moisture dependent. After about 350 miles, highway driving feels like I'm navigating a high-speed boat in choppy water. These tires might excel on German autobahns, but they're far from ideal for Colorado's concrete roads. The ride comfort is virtually non-existent; they transmit every road imperfection, even with the adaptive M suspension in comfort mode. Uphill driving on curved roads induces a slide-like feeling. I'm extremely disappointed with these tires.
I've tried adjusting tire pressure with no noticeable improvement.
I would highly recommend the Road Smart 4
