Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Excellent especially in the dry and for an all-season tyre, and with a very progressive handling. I cannot over-exaggerate how can a human-invented substance have so much grip. Mankind has never seen something like this, and probably will never again. Even at the racetrack, these tyres are unbelievable. As an example, you can check my lap at the Nordschleife on Youtube, under the title: "Peugeot 205 1.1i (60 HP) - Nürburgring Nordschleife BTG lap in 10'19" on all-season tyres".

Can only compare with the horrendous Toyos I had on the car before but these are much smoother to drive, better grip both in the dry and particularly the wet. The Toyos scared me in the wet a couple of times as they gave up grip without warning and I wasn't driving recklessly. I then changed the Toyos even though they had plenty of tread left on them. The Barums also seem to make the steering a bit lighter which is good as the car doesn't have power steering. They are predictable as well - you know when you are at the edge of grip before you end up in a hedge. Wear is difficult to give an opinion on as the mileage we do is very low but they seem to be wearing evenly. Reasonably priced tyre at about £40 each fully fitted and will definitely buy again.

run them on a 205 gti and would easily beat most things off the mark in the dry but when the rain comes even a spot you need to be a very very brave man or women to even attempt a corner. I remove them around late October for better tyres in the rain.

Useless in heavy rain, good on dry roads. 2500 miles out of a pair.

had some hankook paradas before these, there just no match whatso ever, the t1r's are much more responsive, grip better in wet and dry conditions. makes the 205 feel like a go cart again :)

The Nexen SB650 in my case is an absolutly fantastic tyre. I always insist getting tyres with 4 grooves for max steering performance as my car tragically has no PAS and, and another big AND, better distribution of the braking force. This tyre is very good in the dry and makes the car handle to its absolute razor tipped edge during "spirited" driving. They wear quite badly though but it just suit the car like cashmere gloves to hands.

Toyo T1R 195-45-15-W Peugeot 205 1.9 Gti 3,000 miles October 22, 2009
I've fitted T1R's to all 4 corners of my road legal track 205 despite being told to buy the R888's... however, numerous people have been suprised on a dry track just how well the T1R's carry my little rocket out of the corners of Silverstone and Rockingham. They're alright in the wet but I don't really drive in the wet as the car fills up with water which is uncomfortable. for general road use they're really good IMO and I haven't managed to scare myself on the public highway unlike my previous Contact Sport 2's which lasted all of 5 minutes and 1 backward out of a corner incident. The 205 is known for it's tendancy to catch you out with lift off oversteer but these give you enough of a feel to correct the car's pace and direction before you end up in the tyre wall/hedge etc... Road noise is aweful but i have no interior so I suspect that is the car and not the tyre. Wheel spin is something I have to live with when not on track because the engine only has 2 settings, go and off so i don't think any tyre could actually keep this from spinning seeing as it has no ECU, ABS, ESP etc... or any other boring safety features. Good tyre, have lasted 2 track sessions with 3000 miles in between and passed it lastest MOT with them, can't be bad for ?45 per edge!!

Excellent grip for the price, can't really fault them. At least in my 205GTI I don't need to worry about smoking away the fronts as they're so cheap!! :)
