Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S given 81% (255-35-19)
Driving on mostly town for 21000 average miles
Tires mounted on a 2018 Subaru STI. Went for 255/35/19 89 Y which is, compared to alternatives and standard tires (Yokohama), 1cm wider, non "XL", and rated for lighter weight.
While I was never able to spin the tires on a straight launch (unless cold), I actually measured a 3m shorter stopping distance (100 - 0 kmh, under 31m) compared to the original Yokohama.
Never felt aquaplaning when the tires were in good shape, but you could definitely tell where their limits were once worn out. Stopping distance in the wet was always way better than the cars around.
It's a noisy tire, but it lasted about 30 - 35.000 km and always delivered great performance. If you're used to corner hard, the outside tread wears out much quicker than the inside.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
I was able to use it on a some track session with friends during summer and I never had any problems with the grip especially on corners. On the city and highway, Its more comfortable than what I expected especially for its tire classification. The road noise is minimal. Haven't had the chance to really try it on wet roads yet though. Also started to see noticeable tire wear in almost a year of use but its to be expected. I 'd be happy to get about 3 years out of this tire. Overall, I'm very happy with its performance and I'd buy this tire again when the time comes.

After doing my research and watching various tyre reviews, it was a toss up between PS4s and these, but price and the reviews pointed me to these. Have driven them about 1000km and they are as described on the YouTube Tyre Reviews. Great in dry and wet, steering was heavier then the OEM tyres (Advan V105) but great road feedback. I wanted to lean towards a more quiet and comfort tyre as the Subie had a stiffer than most ride anyway so these were a great match without compromising on the performance side. Nothing to fault at this stage.
