BMW M5 Tyre Review Highlights

Avoid these tires like the plague if you ever drive in even a little bit of snow. Dry handling very good although a little noisy. Wet breaking good. Wet handling OK. Have not hydroplaned yet but they are new. However, in the snow even a little bit. They are absolutely worthless. I’m very used to driving in the snow. I’m Canadian. These tires are just dangerous. I live in North Carolina now I would never buy these tires again.

Very good tyres in terms of steering feeling, much better grip on dry roads than standard PZero. On wet surfaces the grip is also very good but once you reach the limit the reaction are pretty fast, so you need to react fast. Also very capable tyre for an occasional trackday. I would place this tyre between a Uhp and a semi-slick. A little bit noisy but less than a Bridgestone Potenza Sport.

Running them on my F90 M5C I have much better steering feel and less under steer on track days. On mountain roads there isn’t much difference to the PS4S or PZ4 I had on before as you can really push the car on public roads, but on the track the grip and feel was amazing

If you're thinking of buying some high performance summer tyres just stop looking and buy these, iv had them on my last 3 cars (w204 c63, F80 M3 and now F10 M5) and wouldn't change them for anything. Been 190+ on the autobahn (no drama what so ever!) and even a few laps on the ring, nearly 8000 miles later and i still have 6mm tread, that's on a 700bhp M5!
I LOVE THEM!

Tremendous winter tyre. Been driving in deep snow, ice, and they just grip for days.

This tyres are good, just you have to consider the weight of vehicle. I had them on 5th series of BMW and they work well in any weather conditions. I would not put them for SUV. Actually any wide high speed tyres doesn't like a vertical clearances. that time they loose grip.
