Toyota Corolla Sportivo 2005 Tyres

These tires were really good when new, After about 3-4 thousand kms I noticed an increase in road noise, Wet grip significantly decreased spinning the wheels off a stop if I give it anymore than a touch of throttle, Dry performance has also decreased more than other tires I have had spinning up until about 50-60 KM/H if I go full throttle, Some wheelspin or chirping is expected but these won't grip, Taking corners at speed also creates a lot of road noise and have once had the car start sliding when taking a corner in the dry, They do hold up to bumps in the road and potholes very well though, and are very comfortable for normal daily driving.

Bought these tyres as a uni student on a tight budget. Would I buy again? No. Have had these tyres for over 3yrs and after time it has just lost grip in both wet and dry scenarios. Sharp turns at roundabouts really push it and can feel tyres barely holding steering line. Add moisture to this and you'd think i was DK in a FWD car, again at slight inclines, accidental wheel spins draw undue attention. Definitely not needed. You can really see all the research gone into tyre R+D especially when tyres aren't stopping in time.
