Nightmare for Kia ev6 R20. Handling is awful.

actually my review is for Nankang SP-9, but since it was not available yet in the options, this review is posted in the SP-7 corner. I have this tire for 5 years ( wow ) ..about 75,000 km .....now its Oct 2025 , will be replacing this tire with the same nankang sp-9 ....safety is outmost concern and this tire delivered when it was needed the most. Ran it for 10km with its side walls ripped apart ( i only saw this when i got home , but felt something was off when i was driving ) due to old age and reach home safely.

priced as it is (3 times cheaper than Continental and Michelin) it performs slightly worse but quite acceptable for the money

Something wrong with handling. The road shoul be ideal for these tyres.

Lassa Competus HP — rated 84%
while driving a Chery Tiggo 7 · Driving on mostly town for 28000 spirited miles
Car Make & Model: 2022 Chery Tiggo 7
Driving Style: Mixed — city, long-distance highway, and occasional rough roads
Owned For: ~4 years
Distance Driven: ~45,000 km (28,000 miles)

Review:
I’ve had these tires fitted to my 2022 Chery Tiggo 7 for almost four years now, and they’ve been nothing short of excellent for Egyptian road conditions. Over 45,000 km of driving, the tread wear has been barely noticeable. They’ve handled countless long trips between governorates, rough unpaved stretches, and smooth highways at speeds up to 180 km/h without breaking a sweat.

The grip is excellent both on dry and wet surfaces, and durability has really impressed me. The only slight drawback is the firmness — you do feel bumps and potholes more than you would with softer tires — but it’s a trade-off I’m fine with, given their overall performance.

At this point, I’d say they’ve worn by about 30% compared to when they were new, which is outstanding considering the roads and driving style.

Ratings:
• Dry Grip: ★★★★★ (9/10)
• Wet Grip: ★★★★☆ (8/10)
• Road Feedback: ★★★★☆ (8/10)
• Handling: ★★★★☆ (8/10)
• Comfort: ★★★☆☆ (7/10)
• Wear Resistance: ★★★★★ (9/10)
• Value for Money: ★★★★★ (9/10)

Overall: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) — Highly recommended, especially if you want a tire that’s not overhyped but delivers top-notch real-world performance.

while driving a Tesla TOGG T10X (LR V2 RWD) · Driving on mostly town for 4000 average miles
By far, the worst tyre I've ever used. It came as an OEM tyre with my new electric vehicle. Both dry and wet grip was very bad. Especially during braking, tyres were locking very easily. Also the tyres were noisy. I've changed them after just 4K miles.

Hankook Ventus ST — rated 69%
while driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD · Driving on a combination of roads for 32000 average miles
I drove this tire on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit WK2 3.0 Diesel. The tire was very good in dry conditions and okay in the wet. When driving through more water, like puddles, you could feel some resistance. Otherwise, it performed well. It was also satisfactory in light off-road conditions. The wear was pleasantly low as well. I would buy it again.

while driving a Volkswagen Tiguan Sport 2.0 TDI 140hp · Driving on a combination of roads for 40000 spirited miles
I'm really surprised at the great value of these tyres. Super impressed that I got at least 65000kms (40000 miles) (On a VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4Motion). Unfortunately I was forced to change two tyres because of damage on a bad road. I would have easily got 75000+ out of it. And considering the way I drive, that's saying something!

Lexani LX Thirty — rated 49%

If you are reading this. DO NOT BUY LEXANI TIRES. ANY SIZE! I have purchased the following tires
265/70R17 and 295/35R24
All of them for some reason only last 1 year and 3 to 6 months average. All of them have issues with bulging.
Really regret buying them.
