Questions and Answers for the General Altimax Comfort

What are the `correct` pressures for General Altimax One (or Comfort) on 195/65r15 on an Audi A3 1.6tdi mk2 2010. If not precise, I`m thinking for economy, sedate driving. Currently at 36 front 30 rear, but so comfy on ride I could go higher, say 36 all round or 40 front 36 rear?

Always start with the factory recommended pressure whatever the tyre. How much you play with the pressures around this is up to you but we wouldn't recommend flexing more than a few PSI each way.

Given 53% while driving a Nissan tida (185/65 R15) on mostly town for 2,000 easy going miles
I reside in South Africa. Tires does not last more than 3000 km before generating small holes on running surfaces causing tires to deflate by plus minus 1 bar per day. Damage to tires where leaks occur almost not visible. Checked with different suppliers. They have experienced the same. Damage not covered by guarantee. Factory reluctant to acknowledge the problem and compensate customers.
