These tyres grip in a way that no other studded tyre comes close to, making difficult situations easier to handle as the grip level is always sufficient. Both Goodyear and Nokian achieve full marks for ice and snow braking, with these tyres combining this with mediocre bare pavement performance - which is as good as studded tyres manage currently. The comfort and stability are typical for studded tyres, meaning adequate but not refined.
