Kia Motors Pro ceed Tyre Review Highlights
This is probably the first review anywhere as these tires are brand new and just came out on the EU market. I bought the PZ5s completely blind so I wanted to provide some preliminary opinions for others.
In the dry these have loads of grip. Their overall feel is very sporty and firm. There is a nice degree of stiffness that makes turning on winding roads really fun. They feel safe and stable - there is no significant tendency to oversteer or understeer and predictability is good. I like the balance. At the limit, on the border of understeer, these bite-in nicely and tighten the trajectory. On bumps and uneven surfaces the PZ5s feel solid and impeccably comfortable.
I like their overall feel, responsiveness, comfort, sportiness and stability much more than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires I had previously. The launching traction provided by the Pirellis is also miles better than that of the Michelin set. This is very important in a 204HP FWD car.
I can't say anything about wear or wet performance yet, as we've had a very sunny and dry early spring this year and I haven't covered enough distance on these tires thus far.

Generally good tires. They feel sporty and truly shine in dry conditions. They keep progressive composure at the limit and have a fun tendency to oversteer slightly rather than understeer (although this was quite new and surprising to me in comparision with my past winter tire experiences). It's a thrill to drive these at the limit when conditions are decent. Launch traction was also good which is important to me - it's often hard to put 204HP down in my fwd car from a stopped start. There were merely a couple days of snow so far but the tires were rather good in piercing through it (better than my previous tires).
They have a rather considerable drawback though. That is ice grip. For me these feel unsafe and miserable on ice compared to my previous Hankook Winter i*cept evo'3's. It's similar but less noticeable when it comes to slushy conditions and deep water grooves. I wouldn't recommend these to a novice driver, based on my experience the Hankooks were safer and more predictable (also much less fun though). Personally I've found noise to be unpleasant and tiresome while driving on motorways with very high speeds - in my experience the Hankooks were more pleasant but it is largely subjective.

Came fitted as standard on my 2020 Proceed GT. Generally a very good tire I can't overly complain about. The only issue I've been having was traction when starting from a stop (204hp fwd dct), but that was probably only partially the tires' fault.
Excellent levels of grip in the dry combined with amazing handling made the car unstoppable at cornering. Road feedback was very good and responsive. Wet grip was good, but traction in the wet was again suboptimal - cold tire wet handling was also slightly suboptimal. Once it got going and everything warmed up the tires were resistant to aquaplanning and gripped well.
The comfort was pretty good for a sporty tire. Wear wise I'd consider it normal. Overall a very good and safe tire for sporty driving, but there are now newer versions available.

Overall a good tire. It had amazing traction in the dry and good in snow/ice, launch traction in the wet was a bit suboptimal, but once it got going the wet handling was superb. It felt very safe and aquaplanning resistance is the best I've seen from a winter tire thus far. Responsiveness was nice and it was coupled with a sense of stability. Handled nicely and predicatbly even when overtaking on snow covered roads (thorugh a snow median in between tire marks).
When it comes to drawbacks: these wore out faster than I had anticipated. Four winters and 34k km on Eastern European roads killed them. There were harsh use conditions though and a slight rim-damage accident (undiagnosed for a couple of months) could have also impacted their lifespan. The Hankooks are not the quietest or most comfortable, but I don't really care for that in a hot hatch. Nothing negatively outside of the norm in my opinion, but nothing spectacular in this regard either.

Replaced my Michelin Primacy 4 by the cross climate 2 on my Kia Proceed 1.5 T-gdi. They instantly made the ride alot more smooth and quite a bit more silent aswell! The CC2 have proved to be a trusty companion in all kind of weather conditions so far. Only handling on wet and especially aquaplanning I found lacking, the tyres tend to spin through faster then I have thought in the first place of a Michelin, especially in a more hillier landscape. Road feedback isn't like a UHP tyre, but they didn't bring down the sportiness of my proceed either, the CC2 is more then responsive enough for normal driving, good feedback, it won't leave you searching how to place the car on the road. Wear is also good, have been driving them for 20000km and they nearly haven't worn down yet.

End of life review on the most beloved tyres I ever owned in 30 years of driving (prior mostly Michelin). Have run the AS200 for 5 years, up to 70.000 km in town and motorways from -20C in winter to +40C in every summer. Always felt safe on wet and dry. Once or twice tested in low snow, the grip was predictable. They always behaved like a premium tyre in every cold and hot season. Reasonably silent. Good handling in sporty driving. Forgiving on some stupid driving. Slight oversteering when pushed over limits, but always so easily controllable. Predictable behaviour. Never flat out on punctures (bolts or screws). Just about 50% total wear at the end of life, and some minor cracks. Definitely Buy Again. Replacing with new AS210, hoping the new gen Falkens are as good as these.

I drive a Kia pro ceed crdi tuned to 150hp.Tried this tire snd kept it for a year cause I went with a 18inch rim(looking for 225/40/18 tires as I am composing this message). Not so happy with it....
There were some cases where I had the abs engaged when it shouldn't do so.No slippery surfaces,no wet.Just bone dry.I have a feeling that they do need to get heat pretty well before they start gripping....I am not saying it's not a good tire. It's just not what I was looking for.The wear rate is really slow, so this tire can last a lot of kms.So far I 've done 15.000kms and there is 3/4 of thread left for sure.
I look for a softer and grippier tire.Maybe I will give a shot to it's bigger brother, the f1 supersport.I hear it has a stiffer sidewall making it much more steering responsive and along with it's softer compound it might be grippier.
My other choices are continental pc6 and Michelin ps4.They do have softer compound rubber as well as sidewall(which I don't like because it deprives the steering responsiveness)

Amazing set of tyres. Really have transformed how the car drives and puts it power down. Before these I had the legendary Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres and they struggled to put the power down in most conditions other than bone dry, and even then they could be broken away in the dry under a hard launch. The F1 Supersports really have made all the difference. Launches are clean, even in the wet. Wheel hop has been also been reduced. My only slight complaint is they do produce more tyre noise, but only slightly more and its a trade off I was aware of and willing to take. Not had them on the car long so can't comment fully on wear, but early signs are good.

Its the second car of the family i get the 914s...
On mine ,they lasted (they are still on...) 35K km....the first 25K km they were great!
Absolutely magnificent in dry conditions
-they followed a set of falken fk 451,a set of yokohama s drive(worst tyre ever) and one of barum bravuris 2...the 914 outperformed all of them easily...great tyre on dry conditions even when pushed...the car is often driven to its limits when dry,in fast tight roads with hairpin turns
When wet the tyres are also pretty good...especially when in their prime and if you are careful with the midterm back and front change of the tyres, the handle nice and the stop accurately...no aquaplanning at all...
But...after 25K the change their behavior a bit and you start to notice a change in thw wet ...they slip a bit and you should be more careful than before....after 30K they need to be replaced
Their lifetime is around 30K kms with a playful driving....
My father who drives like a 60yo...got them replaced at 60K kms (2.5years) with no problem at all...
The final verdict is that its a great tyre...it gives you a sense of security and it comes in great price too...i would buy it again if the price wont go up like its heard
