Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Absolutely miserable tire. No grip whatsoever in the rain, lets go in the dry with no indication whatsoever, braking is borderline dangerous.

Wanli S1097 225-40-18- Mazda rx7 3,000 miles May 26, 2017
These tires came on my RX7 from Japan. As others have said, these things are LOUD. I thought my pinion bearings were out because of the insane drone these tires give. Grip and handling are almost non-existent. These are dry tires made of the wrong compound. Turned my sports car into a shopping cart on ice. Only good for pouring bleach on them and doing big burnouts. Surprisingly comfortable ride, but there is zero feedback from these tires. I'm not sure of the wear these tires get, but I'll tell you that I will destroy them and steer far far away from Wanli tires--shouldn't be a problem steering when I fit some real rubber to the car, either.

0/10 dangerous as hell.

Nice, better than the high end hankooks I had. May be a hair slower to respond than the hankooks, but all around a great tire.

Best rspec radial by a long way

Used on track only so not sure how they are on the road

Benefits
Unbelievable feel
Massive grip from cold
Easilly 1 second / 60 sec lap quicker than any other rspecs.
Grip consistent till completely worn.

Disadvantages
Price
Very high wear rate ( well you are going allot quicker )

For outright speed / race / time attack there is no better tyre.

For track days / supersprint and road use .. Achillies 123s is a better tyre

Toyo R888 225-45-17- Mazda rx7 January 8, 2013
On a nicely set up RX7 500+ wbhp - any good ...YES. Unsure of any spec. details as required good price sticky tyres & bought un-reviewed (bar use on standard RX7 for a few days). So, what I know:
1. No matter what I throw at them - supreme confidence .. even in wet- unreal in dry. Skips for a split of a second in wet/icy conditions but totally controllable. Enough to scare any all wheel drive WRX STI in same conditions lesser footed.
2. Warm up, not an issue I have found. Aqua planing not an issue either.
3. Noise, hard with my car (even with two boxes) but on the glide I know no quieter road tyre (less tread less noise).
4. Feedback excellent, like a Metzler race tyre on a race bike.
5. Limit? Well hard corners & actual 180-190mph not reached limit (235/265) - even over road like surfaces (rough).
6. Lasted - well have to say as fair if not better than any so far (quite a few, lol). i.e. well. Obviously check camber for inner wear.
7. Any caution? well (again) I had other Toyo's on other cars & the side wall typically stiff. Great for handling But if you have any dinks/wheel balance issues the stiffness of these side walls I think likely to create aggro. Wheel rims in good norm condition are no problem. But then you probably wouldn't be looking at these tyres anyway.
8. Finally :) - Recomend - if you wish a track, road legal tyre I really would not bother looking elsewhere, they are just the job these R888.
~If you just want excellent grip and wet safe driving on a road car (comparitive to the old Goodyear Eagle F1, Avon rainsport without the half wear aquaplaning, worse with falken & like) : then I suggest the excellent Marangoni Zeta Linea If you can get in your size, even gone hard they afford amazing grip.~
Price is worth the safety & performance (as needed) of these excellent R888's & better than many comparitives. Not sure if the benefit would be particular to a typical road car/use though.

Yokohama S Drive 225-45-17-W Mazda RX7 Turbo II 40,000 miles May 18, 2010
When i imported my RX7 these tyres were on it. I have not had a load of experience in the wet, but my feelings are the same as some of the other reviews.
The tyres are great for grip and wear, they really handle well in a corner in the dry, there is a slight lack of feedback when taking it too the edge.
The noise level is probally a little high and i reckon the ride is a little hard for what you are getting.

My tyres still have good tread left, i will keep these on until they need changing, but will try another tyre.

Yokohama AVS Sport 225-55-16-W Mazda RX7 Turbo II 2,500 miles March 25, 2010
Car is on 15% harder than standard sprining and Tokico dampers.
Driver has a motorsport license. Mixture motorway/freeway and country roads.
Driver likes corners and braking.
Car is light on tyres, 1250kg and 50:50.
Expected 8000 miles got 19000!
Until rubber was 50% worn these are very noisy tyres..or maybe I got used to them.
Dry grip was great, wet was good enough until down to last 2mm.
Replaced them with Toyo T1Rs...even after 500miles and 4-5 heat cycles UNDERSTEER CITY!!!

Would definitely look to their range again once I've disposed of the T1Rs
