Quiet, great in the wet, snow and dry. Excellent wear characteristic, no cupping or odd wear. I tow with is, not often. I use as a commuter and long trips, off road on my farm. 2006 Nissan Aramada. I have had several different tires, these are by far the best, worst was BF Goodrich and Cooper. Both loud from the start, terrible in the wet and on the road.

Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

What Nissan 2002 patrol drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
I've been using Crossclimate 2 tires on my 2019 Nissan Leaf SL Plus for the last couple of years. It's the car my daughter was driving and she would constantly complain about wheel slip on wet roads. I really only drove the car in the afternoons when the roads had dried and I saw no issue with the tires, they're great on dry roads. (This car was left parked in bad snowy weather, so I don't really have an ice/snow impression.)
That daughter is off to college now, so I've been driving this car some mornings and I feel very bad about ignoring her complaints. On something as simple as a steep road, you can feel the car's traction control trying to stop the wheels from spinning. Any sort of wet road driving, even something as simple as driving out of a carwash, it a dicey proposition. It seems though that it's an issue of the tires not being able to stand up to the torque coming from the electric motor and goes to just two tires, braking doesn't seem that bad, but all four wheels are slowing the car then.
Given that Seattle is heading into wet weather, I'm getting rid of these tires now even though they probably could last another 20,000 miles.
Because the car is limited use they still look new. I run tire pressure at psi to limit rolling resistance and to help with sidewall flex under hard cornering.
The Sonars SX608's are a great tire for summer driving but winter wet road could be better. When they do break loose, they are predictable and easy to bring the car back into control.
The tires are now 8 years old and still have 92% of their tread left. They still drive as good as the day I fitted them. I'm looking to replace them because of age. There are no signs of cracking or splitting but because the car is rare I can't risk a tire blowout and damaging the car or worse.
I have an NV36 Skyline sedan, and my previous tires were Eagle F1A3, and I drove 30,000 km on it.
I also have Bridgestone Reguno GR-XI 225/55R17 tires, which have low grip and sports performance, but have a good reputation for comfort.
I put on this Reguno and then the Eagle F1A6 18-inch size, but the comfort was the same in a good way, and the grip performance was so good that I couldn't see the limit area, and even knowing the previous reputation, I couldn't hide my surprise. I don't know of any other tire that combines performance that I thought was impossible to combine like this tire.
Even BS's S007 and Michelin's PS5 do not have this kind of performance despite their high prices.
If I was asked to find anything I'm not happy with, I'd say it's that pebbles stick to the tires, which is typical of high-grip tires, and that the feeling when transitioning from a long straight to a corner feels a little strange because the feeling changes from a comfort tire to a sports tire. I think we need to spread the word more about how great this tire is, especially in Japan.
