Always rated Avon tyres never been disappointed when I've fitted them on previous vehicle. So this time i was looking for an all terrain tyre that would be able to stand up to mostly country lanes, easy green laning and trips accross Salisbury plain. I was delighted to find that on paper Avon AX7 tyre looked the right fit. Well i can say i have throw everything at it snow/mud and flooded roads and not once has they ever struggled. I really rate these tyre if you the average country person who needs a litter more than a road bias tyre but no need for a full on noisey mud terrian tyre. They are a good all rounder and i think are as good as goodrich all terrain tyre and at a real cost at saving. Give them a try

So far I am very pleased with having purchased the Bridgestone weather control A 005 tyres, they are a massive improvement to the comfort of ride, compared to the summer tyres (Goodyear Efficient grip SUV4x4) originally fitted to my vehicle, it was a real bone shaker before and all the family wanted me to get rid of the vehicle.
The tyres are of course softer than a summer tyre and make for an excellent ride and appear to be quieter than the Goodyear summer tyres previously fitted. The tyres have yet to be tried in cold weather below 7 degrees C - snow ice etc.
Being a softer tyre and more of a bulge at the base of the tyre one must take more care when parking against curbstones to avoid damage to the side walls.

Good in all aspects. Perhaps it has coincided that I punctured more than with other tires. A little weak in compound and sidewalls.

In fact, I was astonished how can this cheap tyre worked like much more expensive Nokian tyre. It is litle noisy but I don't hear it much in this car. Otherwise, for normal driving very recommended. Will buy it again!
