I’ve been running the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on my 2015 Suzuki Swift for the past four summers, and they have genuinely transformed the way the car drives. My Swift came from the factory with 17-inch wheels, which is fairly large for this model, so I needed a performance-oriented summer tyre. The car originally had Hankook Ventus V12 evo2s fitted, but they were cracked, lacked grip, and generally felt past their best.
Switching to the Pilot Sport 4 was a night-and-day difference. Straight away I noticed a huge improvement in grip. The wheelspin I used to get when accelerating a bit too enthusiastically in the wet completely disappeared. Even now, with the tread about halfway worn, the tyre still performs brilliantly. There’s no loss of traction in the wet, and it remains composed when cornering hard. It’s probably more tyre than the Swift realistically needs, but I enjoy every bit of it and would happily recommend it.
In terms of comfort, the Michelin is noticeably better than the Hankook. My car has very stiff suspension, so I feel every bump, but the Pilot Sport 4 manages to take the edge off a little. Road noise is on the higher side, though this may be more down to the poor sound insulation of the Swift than the tyre itself.
Another strong point is wet safety. I’ve driven through plenty of standing water on the motorway and haven’t experienced any aquaplaning so far, which gives a lot of confidence.
Overall, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is an excellent choice if you drive a relatively modest car but still enjoy pushing it as if it were something quicker. It delivers impressive grip, strong wet performance, and good comfort, even several years into its life.

I’ve had these tyres now for about 5000 miles now and I must say I’m very pleased. The wear seems better so far than the reviews say and I don’t baby the car.
An even split of day to day runnings, moterway and b road blasts give me a good idea of what they’re capable of.
Dynamics of the car are stable and consistent, surprisingly communicative and you feel what they’re doing very well. In hotter weather when pushing on you can feel the tread through the steering getting pushed about so not the best but that’s really faster than you want to be going anyway. Expected for an all weather tyre.
Driven in snow to and they do fantastic, very grippy and the wet performance is fantastic. Compared to my previous summer tyres these are miles above with hydroplaning as well.
Overall would get again and couldn’t recommend more especially for the price.

These are 10 years old tyres which were fitted on the car as winter tyres when I bought it. I haven't had the chance to try them on snow. However, on some wet roads, even after the rain, they don't provide any traction. It's to a point where it's really dangerous. If I start uphill, the wheels will slip in both first and second gears during a mild acceleration. Braking on that kind of road with these tyres is really bad.
The same thing happens when on wet grass.
I've had 10 years old Dunlop winter tyres with my last car and they still were great in both conditions until I changed them because they were worn out. These Minerva still have 7-8 mm, so I'll keep them during this summer, hopefully they'll be better when it's warmer.

Still brand new but so far the tires have totally eliminated the drift and constant correction that i had to do with my sumitomos and continentals that i had.the tires drive soft and make no road noise.after i put them on i drove 280km's at 120km/h on motorway tar and some bad gravel road.will update after more driving with my Suzuki dzire 1.2 petrol

Applied this Maxxis HP5 on my wife's Suzuki Swift for 6 weeks/2500KM. At the first week these HP5 surprised me very much, I can even drift the little Swift at 80Km/hr on corners without braking it and no tyre crying noise. However, after 1500 KM, I found loud ZZZ noise up the highway driving at over 80Km/hr. Other than bad noise comfort, I actually feel the grips on wet/dry are quite above average. Recommended only for racing enthusiastic people who do not mind the noise. Me I cannot stand it cause it really trigger my tinnitus.

Those Premium does not fit the Suzuki Swift (2011) very well...
I mean they did a good use and all but in our hot weather wear was fast.
I drove 30,000 miles on it... and after they lose the first 2 layers it is very poor driving experience you're having.
