Had significant number of punchers, driving mostly highway and black top roads. Wire, small screw, any road crap would cause slow blow down. Repaired a tyre at least twice a month.
Could not fault road holding, braking performance ect, Simply got frustrated fixing punctures!
Put on set on Continentals in Dec 25 no puncture to date that should tell you something.
6 Months is very hot over 30 Celsius, summer is well over 36 to 38. Imagine how hot is the road.
I did not expect to last long but they got stiff and traction is not that good. I mean from 1.5 liter engine producing 150hp and 250nm torque you dont expect to spin wheels with 2nd when you just get in boost with 2000rpm. If you push it in corners traction take over because the outer well spin like crazy. The compound was suppose to become softer in summer, but NO, is getting harder. Imagine in winter. This is the 1st time i put Hankook and the last. For me Dunlop, Goodyear or Michelin.
From day 1 to 5000 khm the Tyre perform more than average, after start loosing grip when on turbo boost. Spin wheels with 2nd gear as low as 2000 rpm. For 1.5 TSI engine I did not expect that. Car come with Good Year, I dont remember the model, but was quieter until the end of them.
I rotate them after 14000 Khm but again no deference. Next time Michelin or Dunlop.

I drove about 7.000 miles on for my 2024 vw T-cross . I do not understand why vw use this tire especially turning the corner is nightmare with that tire also comfort is bad . My car was not sport car or I can not say I have driven in high speed corners but anyway even for b suv I can not advice .It does not safe me at all . Please vw spend some money for tire .
I bought a VW T Cross that came fitted with this tyre. It is a decent enough tyre in terms of braking and handling. Wet grip maybe a bit suspicious but I've had worse. Road noise also bit on high side. However, my biggest complaint is the amount of punctures I had. Around a puncture a week. I have preferred Continentals for many years and had never had to do so many repairs before (my driving habits had not changed). After 25 000 km I had enough and reverted back to Continentals, no punctures for last two months touch wood. I ditched a set of tyres that had plenty of tread left bit heartbreaking considering cost to replace all four tyres at once, but peace of mind is real important. I would not recommend these tyres for South African conditions.
All is well - but for the unfixable front wheel shimmy. From 120kph onward the steering vibrates. Pressure changes and balancing to no avail. Self sealing perhaps the problem? Car is VW T-Roc Convertible.
Safe tyres that get me safely everywhere I go. I've driven them in hot weather, heavy rain,.. always with trust. They are not sporty but if you don't have a sporty car, it doesn't matter at all. The Hankooks are also very economic and the wear is really good. +30k km's and still enough thread to go.
Good looking tyre with reliable grip. I'm a sporty driver, although my car isn't sporty. The tyres give me a good grip, maybe not the best, but i've never felt losing grip while driving. Also in the snow it's very good. I would buy these again!
