Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 79% while driving a Mazda 3 2.2D 150 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 6,000 spirited miles
I fitted these tyres to a Mazda 3 diesel 2.2 and they coped well with the torque under spirited acceleration/driving. They seemed to pick up quite a bit of road noise but i think that was due in some way to the Mazda, i say this because when i bought the Mazda (on worn Pirelli tyres) i noticed far more road noise than my previous cars.
The Road X's performed well all the time i had the Mazda, no issues.

Given 94% while driving a Toyota Corolla (205/55 R16) on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
Was skeptical about this unheard of tyre brand but decided to try. Nothing to lose as its cheap to buy. Was prepared to change them out if they don't meet my expectations. Handled like a dream and no regrets with the purchase. Cuts through water like a blade with acceptable high speed road holding. Will buy again.

Given 73% while driving a Hyundai elantra (195/65 R15) on mostly motorways for 80 average miles
I installed these tires 4 years ago, November 2020, and I have driven 80,000 km on them, exceeded 200 km/h, and entered rough and unpaved areas with them, and they did not complain about anything.

In terms of comfort, smoothness and quietness, I do not remember their condition when I first bought them, but now the quietness is very bad

Given 23% while driving a Toyota Yaris Mk4 Hybrid 1.5 (XP210, M15A FXE) (185/65 R15) on mostly town for 4,040 average miles
The car was bought from a dealer with these tires in the front brand new and on the rear had Continental AllSeasonContact2 that was 2 years old. The dry grip was bad in a turn with 60km/h the car would go straight (see photo) the Continental AllSeasonContact2 in the rear was perfect. After 4000 miles in a turn with 10km/h and the road a little wet when I press the pedal the car slipped and the steering wheel went crazy I had to take my foot from the pedal to regain control of the car. The tires has lost some little rubber in some spots in one of the two tires I saw. After the event with the wet road I change it immediately with Pirelli Cinturato P1 and I was in such a mood that I did not think to take photos the rubber that was missing from the tires.

Given 87% while driving a Mazda 3 2.2D 150 (205/60 R16) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
I needed (wanted) a new set of tyres for my recently purchased car, not being a boy racer or brand snob i reviewed the sub £80 per corner offerings and decided to go with the Roadx's.
I'd never had any before so i was a little apprehensive about them, but i needn't have worried, they are really good tyre that suits my car and driving style (spirited when safe to do so).
Dry handling is impeccable as is the wet handling, decent feedback through the wheel and comfortable. Unsure of the longevity because i've only had the tyres fitted a few months but given all other attributes i'm confident they'll last fairly well.
If they keep performing as they are doing, i'll definitely be buying them in the future. (Distant, i hope!)

Check out how the BEST all seasons tyres perform against premium summer and winter tyres!
Given 100% while driving a (185/55 R16) on mostly town for 0 easy going miles
Had 4 new RoadX tyres fitted. Very impressed so far. They look great, handle great and the price was unbeatable.
These are the XL version (extra load) which are possibly over engineered for my car but with the reinforced side walls and stronger construction they should last longer on the pot holed roads we all have to suffer in the UK.
I don't drive to the limit of the tyres, plus the cars safety systems would kick in before the tyres let go (ABS/Traction Control/VSC/Brake Assist).

Four new RoadX tyres for the price of one brand named tyre!
RoadX are owned by Sailun which also make great tyres.

Have these on my car for a month and so far so good, seem good in dry and wet. Happy with them for the price, will update after more miles.

Given 100% while driving a Hyundai i30 (205/55 R16) on mostly town for 25,000 easy going miles
Have them installed on my Hyundai i30. I knew they gripped and pumped water when raining but yesterday with the severe weather encountered on my way home this product just cut through the water I didn’t see on the road due to be dark and flooding rain I’m super impressed and I’ve driven on lots of brands over the years I’ll put this product as the best
