BMW 120i M Sport Tyres

Love it! For having no grip. No kidding. These low grip U11 together with ESP works wonderfully together to make the car super nimble on curvy country road. Make me feel like Mika Hakkinen driving his F1 McLaren with 2 brake pedals. Just Google "McLaren 2 brake pedals" for further information.

At first, these tyres were pretty good. More uncomfortable than the typical tyre but it is a run flat so that is expected. It's when I modified my car that these tyres really had to go (ordering CSC7's). The car is already insane and having these tyres do not help at all. I have little to no grip in the wet and it doesn't improve much in the dry to be honest. I skid a lot now, wheelspinning everytime and it's now scary to drive... Bear in mind I still have about 4mm left. I drive normal conditions majority of the time, but when it comes to spirited driving, hell no I wouldn't recommend these. The ride was always rough but after doing some research, turns out everyone else feels the same way..

Initial impressions: The tire is silent compared to 18 inch Michelin Pilot Sport 5's and takes bumps well for an XL tire.

Turning feels really nice at 15 degrees celsius in the dry, I am very happy with Pirelli so far, I'd even say that now my front wheels turn too quickly, I have to get used to smaller tires. Some of the tires were lightly bulged out of the factory, but still in spec for a small car. (Balanced with Hunter Road Force Elite)

I'll return with a winter review.

Incredible grip in the wet, incredible grip in the dry. awesome wet braking, awesome dry braking. Impressive comfort, very, very long durability. For me the best tire I've ever had. A lot of work is ahead of the other premium brands to improve these.

Dry: Good tire in dry conditions and normal driving, but they very loud and the ride is very harsh when the asphalt is not perfect.
Wet: Spirited driving in wet conditions is not really possible, the tires lose grip easily even under moderate acceleration in corners and have a hard time getting traction when accelerating.
Wear: The wear seems good, 7mm tread left all around after roughly 11.000 miles (18.000 km).

Tires were replaced after 11k miles by non-RFT tires due to the harshness / wet traction / high noise issues.

Good tyre when new, wish it lasted longer

I drive a BMW 1 Series Coupé with M Sport Packaging with RIMS in front of 215/40/R18 and in back 245/35/R18.

I've got a little bit of oversteer in dry conditions, but the grip on the tarmac is awesome. In wet weather I've noticed that oversteer is become more and that I need to slow down a bit. I have driven the car also with extreme winter conditions with these tires and I had some problems with breaking, but no problems with steering when I was driving at lower speeds. With higher speeds I had a lot more problems.

I've driven 38K miles with these tires and I can say that the wear is less then expected. The tires make more noise then expected, but when you drive Run Flats it's ok.
