Honda DC2 Integra Type R Tyre Review Highlights
Have had these tyres since 2019
And they do not disappoint. For the price ibwas skeptical but for a tyre in this price bracket they punch way above. The car was daily driven for three years.. A mix of spirited driving and in traffic. And i am totally blowm away by its versatility. In performance driving they do not fall off with grip when heated up like other chinesium tyres and while the side walls i find to be tough and give a ridged ride I find that as a "performance" tyre it handles abuse really well. I still have more than 30% tread left on them but will be changing them due to age pretty soon. Overall a surprising bang for buck. Unfortunately where i am they are no longer available. I would purchase in a heartbeat once again

Really good all rounder for a sporty fwd car. On heavy acceleration a lot of tyres just give up and spin freely against the road, car inert.
These make much more of an effort. Sure, there’s still wheelspin but I’ve done a 6.34 to 60 in my stock ITR with these so can’t complain.
Handling is also strong. I feel like I can go round corners as fast as I want - as fast as my ageing 1.8 motor will let me

These tires were surprisingly good in the dry, offering good feedback and reassuring grip levels even when pushing it a bit.
They are let down a bit in the wet however, Though they are quite predictable even during wet driving.
For daily driving, they're pretty smooth and road noise isnt too bad. I was satisfied with their lifespan as well, doing nearly 50,000km and still a few millimetres of tread left.
They are a quite well priced tire if you want Something with a bit more performance and feedback but dont want or cannot afford to go the whole hog on RE003s/PS3s etc.

Amazing in dry, not bad in wet but don't like standing water at all. They do wear fast and a lot of road noise and stiff ride however you don't buy these tires for a motorway cruiser. It's all about the corners and they certainly deliver.

Astonishing tyres provided that you evaluate them in terms of wet/rain tyre category not dry racing tyre. Sometimes they may feey inflated then you better pump them up till max load of your car in advance.
They are not especially responsive and agile when tarmac is hot but... theres is something of great great quality about these tyres when road becomes colder and slippy. Lower temperature diminishes the apparent effect of inflation as the rubber compound turns bit stiffer. To my mind, on classic sporty FWD car (DC2) they possess the quality which I do appreciate much and much. Not in terms of racing them but in terms of super safe, solid tyre for autumn, snowless winter and spring

Great, absolutely great feedback, easiness and performance. They are "easy" in terms of effortless exact handling and road feel so they deliver easy feel of sporty way of driving. Dry tarmac - superb, wet - mere very good

Great dry weather tyre but, as we live in the UK, we occasionally get rain. These are the worst tyres I've ever had for wet grip and I'll never buy them again. Not much choice in 16inch sizes but anything would be better then these.

Bridgestone Potenza RE010 (not listed in the drop down). These are OEM tyres for the DC2 Integra Type-R. They have a lovely progressiveness to them and obviously they are specific to the car. If you want your DC2 to handle as it should, really there is no other choice. Good on track too, very exploitable.
