Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

After the 2nd season the dry grip deteriorated a lot, you should be very careful when accelerating from a corner, otherwise the ESP will intervene. I am considering to throw it away after this 3rd season, despite the low mileage (15 000 km) and wear.

Coming fresh from Nankang CRS's which developed some flat spots so my opinion will be skewed.
On the limit during a turn there's a sort of rubber band sendation felt through the steering wheel, it's really easy to tell when you're almost on the limit but that last 1% is super vague to me.
Very comfortable and soaks up small amplitude high frequency bumps very well.
It's surprisingly light, holding my old tire one one hand and this on the other it's pretty shocking the difference in weight.
It takes a while to load up on a corner but again once you're on it it communicates well until it gives up.
I'll update this review once I've driven it more.

This year I decided to replace my original Michelin CrossClimates in the front axel, since the CCs started to crack at the edges, as many have reported. I also wanted a more winter biased tyre, since I live in a Nordic country. I chose BP 6 after reading many reviews and because they seemed to have a good price/performance ratio. I haven't had a chance to drive a lot, so I can't give a very detailed analyses. My first impressions are pretty good. There is more grip on snow and ice compared to CC. However the tyre is softer than CC, but also wierdly bouncier. Since I drive a rear driven car, I don't feel comfortable inflating fronts more, than rears, but this is something I am considering in order to make the tyre more drivable.

First season on my MX-5 ND. Dry grip is pretty good, comparable to the Michelin PS5 I am using on my other car. Wet grip is not bad, but there is room for improvement. It's easy to control the car. My overall experience is very good. Wear is really good on this light roadster. Will buy them again.

These tires are not strong enough. At speeds above 160, the car floats on them. I move unpredictably during sharper turns. They betray in critical situations. I went 100 around a corner that I normally drive at 130 and the stabilization flashed.

Great A/S, very sticky AND solid, acting precise. Driven sporty lasting less than my favorit AD08RS (5 vs. 7Tkm) but at equal level of fun! Since December 3Tkm mainly mountain roads driven at temp below 20 Celsius, worried about higher ambient/tarmac temp worse wear. Will buy again in autum.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 205-45-17- Mazda MX5 2.0 SE (ND 2015 onwards) 3,000 miles August 17, 2023
Extrem grip, low mileage (Act. 4tkm, mainly Swiss mountain roads, 2.8mm remaining on weakest spots vs. best 4mm
Vague Center Point which is more of a CenterZone (Null-/Mittellage: 11:57…12:03); feels lose & broken, most notably at low speed (40-70km/h), tried total toe in of 0/10/14‘ (arcminute); no change.
Very soft carcass (88V), flips over/to sidewall, even with 2.5bar (36psi) hot, imagine OEM 2.0 cold, 2.2 hot!
Silent&comfortable, light&agil, convidence inspiring & safe, could call boring….

Great & stiky tyre for joyride with „EnlargedCenterZone“.
Poor disappointing mileage, below 5tkm, (I get 6tkm out of AD08RS in average of 10sets! Well, Bridgestone Potenza Sport did below 3tkm)

Will go back to AD08RS hope steering will get back!

I’ve struggled with this tyre, I simply don’t trust them, on one hand the tyre turns in so fast and inspires confidence but almost instantly seems to be unable to hold its own turn in line and drifts and moves, I completed a fast session recently and was really disappointed with the way the tyre moves around even in straight lines, and was surprised to find they were barely warm at the end of the session? I played around with tyre pressure and did feel some improvement dropping the pressure to 20psi from 26psi but not enough to warrant using them again. In the dry fitted to a 950kg race prepped 220bhp MX5 NA I didn’t think this tyre was good enough, I’ve never once been nervous in a race or track session but genuinely was, the car moved around, was nervous and under braking was fun but nose was everywhere, I honestly thought there was an issue with the car, so for the safety of myself and others abandoned the session to ensure car was OK, switched back to my Michelin set up and set my fastest lap of the day two laps in and then continually lapped 8 seconds a lap faster with Michelins than I did with the Toyo’s. Track. Conditions were dry 23c ambient but cloudy and track was dry for at least a week. Excelled at ion was strong with this tyre, initial turn in very very good, but won’t hold the line, moves about mid corner, and under heavy braking whilst strong, the car moved around a lot making it difficult for me to balance the car before turn in. Ive used Toyo road tyres with great results but feel the compound of these tyres do not suit UK tracks and definitely required tyre warmers.

Had these tyres as OEM fitment on my Mazda MX-5 2.0 ND. Great in the dry but when it's wet (and colder) it oversteers very easily even when you're light on the throttle. Had them replaced by a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and those are way better in the wet. Wouldn't by the S001 again.

Mushy feeling and soft compound. Works on snow well, ice poses a challenge without studs, but I also have a red car with an open differential. Dry handling and feedback is terrible to be honest, dws06 have been used prior and offer amazing results, but snow performance isn’t as great, obviously
