Peugeot 206 1.4 hdi Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Sava PERFECTA given 34% (185-65-14-)
Driving on mostly town for 6000 spirited miles
Had these years ago and, as many have said, these are terrible in the wet. I'd call them death traps instead... On the first 6000 miles they were fine but on the next winter, you couldn't do a roundabout without the car spinning out of control with no feedback whatsoever. I have driven in the same conditions with every tyre, even almost worn Dunlop SP and never had any problems. Never experienced such sudden lack of grip on any car, the moment it was gone there was nothing that you could do. Same happened when braking, as I've had to pull the parking brake on a wet road so I didn't slam into a car at 20mph. Right after that, I immediatly also replaced the front Sava tyres. After a while I got to know my mom lost control of her van exiting the motorway, on a wet day. Guess what? These were the same tyres that had been fitted and she had never had accidents before or since.

Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 average miles
I had these fitted on my Peugeot 206. Were pretty good, not problems in the rain. Sold the car when they had 30k km on them. Still 5.5mm

Also have these on my current Volvo C30 on the rear and they are at 65k km and still 3.5mm. (205/50/17) But these were on them from a former owner and don't have the correct load index (89 instead of 93)

The worst tyre I have ever had on a car. They do not inspire any confidence at all. they are very loud.
Grip is poor in the dry and non existent in the wet. Any damp at all on the road and the car just wants to go straight on. As a result you have to drive VERY slowly in the wet to keep the car on the road.
My car is a 68hp diesel and it spins wheels in second in the wet....
For the sake of your own safety and the safety of those around you, do not buy this tyre.
