Previously, I had the Toyo Proxes Sports fitted - and I can honestly say that there is a night and day difference with the 2nd iteration.

It is simply a better tyre in absolutely every single way. I drive like a ****, and these tyres just give so much confidence. I can brake stupidly quick in both dry and mildly wet conditions, even through the corners. They hook up so well and are incredibly predictable - they really bite the road and mitigate so much understeer in my 2006 Leon FR.

When there’s a more significant layer of water on the road they don’t perform any miracles or defy any physics, but they definitely don’t feel sketchy if you still want to push the car a *reasonable* amount. Just don’t be stupid and attempt to fly through obvious puddles in the road.

The previous iteration of the proxes sport’s would often wheel spin with any full throttle input in low gears in my car - and whilst that’s still the case with the 2nd iteration, you certainly require more torque to do so, and they do so with far more composure and willingness than before.

Also, they seem far more robust and harder wearing than the previous iteration of tyre. The tread is on a much slower burn compared to how quickly the previous iteration seemed to melt away.

Overall, they’re a fantastic summer tyre that still perform amazing in the damp. I see no reason to gamble and try any other tyres, because they’re such good value for money with their relatively low price point.

Good for the first 2 seasons ~ 15 000 miles. Don't really feel good when the temperatures get over 15C⁰ and the chunks start tear especially on the highway.

It is a relatively cheap winter tyre but its perfect for people who just want to be safe in those colder months. It is no means a performance tyre so dont expect much but it does its job.

Good grip in the dry, but not great grip in the wet. They are not ditchfinders like some budget tyres in the fact that they won't throw you off the road a the sight of a wet roundabout, but they still spin up easily or make the car understeer when moderately provoked. My other car is fitted with Goodyear Eagle f1 Assymetric 3's which are leagues better.

Driving on mostly motorways for 21000 average miles
The tyre is a very good overall performer. Grip and braking feels very good at both dry and wet (not a full 9 but closer to 9 than to 8). Driven on a rather mediocre quality of asphalt they have appeared to need some more warming up before they reach their best performance but after that, performance is very good. There are two negative points however, but they may be circumstantial: first is that in very tight corners they have a tendency to skid a bit (but this may also be due to the asphalt quality).
Second negative point is "some kind of wear" but let me explain: Greek summer is tough on the tyres and although there is no actual tread wear, there is a performance deterioration which made me change them in just over 3 years and 33.500km with a tread height that would certainly not dictate a tyre change.
Have recently replaced them with the asymetrico 3 which right from the start feels to have undergone some improvement....

I bought these tyres for my Seat Leon FR 2.0 tfsi to replace Pirelli summer tyres on the front. I did a lot of research first and would have preferred to have a higher end brand but money is tight so went for these at £84 the pair delivered, from eBay. I have to say I'm extremely impressed! These tyres are barely different from the Pirellis they replaced. They are sturdy to drive on even in this low profile size, not 'squishy' at all. They grip incredibly well in both wet and dry, I was concerned that I might lose some of the handling ability and would have to drive more carefully but I have not had to alter my style at all. I can continue to throw the car about as it was designed for! They cope well on country lanes, town roads and motorways. After having them fitted I attempted to wheel spin off some traffic lights and the tyres did not want to; spinning slightly but easily finding grip and pulling away despite not being worn in yet. Also performed an emergency stop test which was to my satisfaction. For the money these are exceptionally good and well above my expectations. The only time they really lose grip is when I brake hard on a poorly positioned manhole cover on my road in the wet, which sometimes causes my ABS to kick in. An ideal all round budget tyre.

Driving on mostly country roads for 3000 easy going miles
Before I had the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti, with whom I found it very well, but I wanted to change on the advice of my tire men. The tires are very similar, and both are wonderful tires, both dry and wet, the only difference there is that the Michelin keeps the road little better but they have softer sides and are therefore not quick In steering gear change direction is not accurate.
I recommend Comunqie even if I prefer the ultrac vorti for my stile driving

Front wheel drive, open diff (no lsd), 330bhp 450Nm, this tyre had hard mission.

I can say it is safe to driving a bit spirited with this tyre/power, but I dirnt expect that it will.br as on semi slicks.

Tyre was all fine except a bit short life.

TERRIBLE TYRES, put these on the rear of my Leon TFSI, (the XL extra load version by the way), went for a run in them and pulled up on the hard shoulder of the motorway not once but twice convinced my wheels were loose or I had a flat, but no. Continued with them over the next couple of weeks for 300 miles hoping they'd settle in perhaps the mould release agent etc etc, but no improvement, the car slides round bends and feels actually dangerous, had goodyear eagle F1's on before and was perfect, think I'll be taking these off and getting some more F1's maybe they didn't mix well with the F1's on the front but not taking a chance on them again, will not recommend this brand to anyone, the eagle F1s though are absolutely fantastic.
