Fiat Scudo combi van Tyre Review Highlights
Writing about the Superia Ecoblue 4S given 39% (215-60-16)
Had this tires on our family van when I bought it. Fiat Scudo 2007, 215/60-R16 XL, 99 LI .
Date of productions was 2020. Bought them used with the car in 2022. Up to winter it was a better tire than I expected from a cheap one, it was really ok in dry and not bad in wet conditions (of course its a heavy car with more weight on every wheel). In the third year it begann to significantely lose grip on wet roads. Ice and snow was then getting horrible, I had to stay behind trucks on the Autobahn because it was slipping sideways on flat tracks with icy surface. Threw them off afterwards with 4 mm tread depth in the middle, gave 2 to recycling and keep 2 for later in summer. Mounted these 2 in Summer 25 again for two weeks to test them again. They still felt good by handnail-test but the wet grip was completely gone. My 2 tons empty weight car slipped out on the front axle so easy by normal cornering on wet roads, I never felt something like this before. So I gave the last 2 to recycling too. Horrible, really horrible after 3-5 years. If you wear them to ground during 2 years, you can buy them. Otherwise don't!!!

Writing about the Maxxis Premitra All Season AP3 given 48% (215-60-16)
Driving Maxxis Premitra All Season AP3 XL in dimension 215/60 R16 99V on 2007 Fiat Scudo Van with 8 seats as Family Car only during holidays and transport tasks. Wight of empty car: 2,0 tons. Driving style: sporty if only me sitting in. Normal with family. Driven distance: around 10.000 km.
Grip over all is good under dry and wet conditions, a bit indirect steering, rest ok. But I have a big problem with tread wear on the side of the tires. They also seam to be too soft in the sidewalls, so the wear is only on the sides. Tire pressure is 0,3 bars over recommented pressure of full car, so this should not be the problem. I do not recomment this tire for heavy cars or sporty driving style, it can't withstand this!
Grip on muddy snow with ice under was really bad, I had to put on snow chains for even smaller hills :(

Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 easy going miles
Placed front and rear onto Fiat Scudo Passenger carrying LWB about 1 year apart. No rear seats but used for light load carrying. Three years and 20,000 miles down to 2mm. Sensible driving speeds. Nothing bad about these tyres and no unique defining situations wet or dry. Pity my vehicle can only range 40-45mpg, sometimes 47mpg on long runs but Vehicle Reviews seem to match...so which tyre does everyone use to improve?. Its a car tyre not a van tyre and I largely use it as a car. Possibly buy again but maybe one with better Reviewed Wet Weather Performance...just in case

Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 average miles
Fitted to the front of a Fiat Scudo campervan. Grip is OK on road ( it's a van, I keep up but well away from the limit..), Marked as Mud & Snow tyres ,but don't go well on wet grass. Fine on motorways at 80+, but jittery and throw sideways when accelerating, on rough roads and service trenches. 12k done and plenty of tread left, mpg not what I was hoping.
I'm hoping to replace the original Bridgestone Duravis on the rear with higher performance, preferably all-season..

For the first time I've bought winter tyres and thank god I did. Last year I had normal tyres on my Fiat Scudo van and the wheels just spun in very light snow. After having Avon Ice touring tyres fitted the van is moving freely through heavy now and no wheel spinning whatsoever. Totally worth the cost and mush safer, I'll be having them fitted every winter now
