Renault Clio IV Sport Tourer 1.5 DCI Tyre Review Highlights
Although i have run only 300km on these tires, first impressions are excellent. Breaking response on dry but slippery- worn greek roads is impressive, so as steering response. On wet roads, they behave equally good. The tire is really quite, but so all new tires are. I will install them also at my second car (mercedes with a larger profile).

Seems to me that no difference is noticeable between driving in dry/wet conditions. Got caught with sudden draught and just kept both speed and grip from sunny-drive through heavy rain without noticing. Got very surprised considering mid-range tyre. Love driving in rain, no special feedback from road (no noise, no sliding, no control loss) just plain, comfy ride. Made about 15.000km with them so far, all conditions, motorway, city, performs just a equal, can't put them at any category - good for city, good for highway...

i fitted the tyres first time 5 years ago on my citroen xsara 1.6 i am currently on the 3rd set on my xsara and i fitted them on my clio iv too i am most certainly very pleased with it. Its good grip and long mileage fit the bill nicelly.I previously had michelin pilot on and they dryed up very fast they were slipery and wear very fast and they were a bit rougher on the bumbs.

having driven on a number of tyres on the very same car and being a mechanical engineer thats a petrolhead I believe I would be a perfect candidate to make a good comparison.
so far I have used, Goodyear EGP, Michelin Primacy 3, Falken ZX914, Pirelli Verde P1 all on 205/55/16 size to add comfort compared to the original 195/55/16 the car comes with.
as for the Jinyu's, well I'am using them on the 1 size up 17 rims with oversized 205/50/17 (almost the same as 205/55/16) tyres.
my comments so far would be:
pros:
1) great handling, feedback, dry is great wet is good no complaints at all
2) comfort isnt a Michelin but it sure isnt uncomfy either
3) noise wise its fairly little more noiser which to be honest all tyres are on this size anyway so I would say its par with Michelin etc
4) wear wise nothing comes close to these babies, 24k kms and they are still holding on I estimate they will last upto 35k kms which is great for this size.
cons:
1) dont know the name of this trouble but these tyres very often get brownish, dull looking and I havent ever used any of those solvents etc just simple water based protectors and that was maybe 3 or 4 times.
other than that cant really think of any other trouble.
price wise these are half to even 1/3rd the price of the competition with just as good if not even better results , why bother with the big boys spoiled names/prices?

Hey people,
left a review on 29th of september and here I'am 13,000km's later (8000miles more or less) with 3 months of usage.
my overall statements didnt change much but I would like to say:
Pros:
1) excellent aquaplaning resistance , these tyres are what is needed for F1 drivers in rain I mean the only word that comes to mind is AMAZING, you feel extremely confident in rain , deep puddles etc not a bit of movement ,steering pull etc very well balanced and stable.
2) so far wear is not as bad as described, 13000kms mostly aggresive driving and I still can say they atleast appear as they did when I bought them.
Cons:
1) braking, grip is not the best in dry infact almost every tyre brand including falkens outperform these tyres with ease.
2) user has to be very careful with tyre pressure, these tyres require a good 2-3psi more over the recommend door labeled OEM spec as the walls are too soft.
not doing so causes tyres to be underinflated and feel sloopy and most likely wear faster and uneven.

Never had a good Continental tyre and these are noy better...
Honest in dry conditions.
Average everydad tyre and dangerous on the wet/rain.
