Both wet and dry grip braking and traction excellent.
Cornering and lateral grip amazing for a 4X4.
So comfortable and noise levels that low that most passengers fall asleep!!!
Sidewalls are softer, but that’s to be expected with a touring tire.
Noticeable difference in fuel economy.
Real sense of confidence and comfort when driving, over the budget tires they replaced.
I do well in excess of 50k on rural difficult roads with little off roads, much of it towing up to the national legal road limit of 7.5tons @ 80kph.
On one trip of over 1200km non stop, so impressed was my passenger with the drive ability, that he insisted on getting behind the wheel. He couldn’t believe the responsiveness of the steering wheel.
I have no interest in driving excessively/sporty, beyond the legal limits, etc, so I can’t comment on the dynamic limitations of the tires.
I believe they are good value for money relative to other competitors in the same tire size, but tire wear is the big unknown. Completed about about 15-20k on these tires since new before switching to winter tires, and looking forward to temperatures rising again.

I use the WildPeak AT4w as my primary off-road tire on a Land Cruiser 250 (Prado). The tires are reasonably comfortable and responsive in daily driving and on long road trips, but really shine when I air them down and take them off-road on rocky mountain trails. I'm very pleased with the NVH characteristics of the WildPeak AT4w - they are louder than the OEM road tires, but not excessively so. Since the tires need to be at 39 psi on road, the ride can be a little harsh over bigger on road impacts (like pot holes and expansion joints.) I chose the AT4w in part to get a true 33" tire in a narrower width for better grip on rocky terrain. In my experience on dirt, rock, and sand, I found the grip to be excellent even in wet conditions. Excellent off-road and above average on road. If you aren't planning to use these on dirt, rock, sand, or mud, then you'd probably be better off finding a more road focused AT tire. The pic shows how well the tires conformed over rocky terrain aired down to around 20 psi.

Good durability, low noise and nice shape. The car they're on isn't ideal to test them due to its marginal comfort and interfering wind noise.

The tires were on the vehicle I purchase this year, a Toyota Land Cruiser 2019, Diesel, automatic. Both front tires show a wear all around 5 centimeters from the outside, 5-10 centimeters wide, like the rubber cracking like fish scales but still attached. The rear are fine. I went to a tire repair shop in Hungary, would told me it is due to the bad roads in country but the tires were fine, no need to change them yet. Not sure the road conditions are the reason for this type of deterioration, since I never saw that type of wear before (I drove other tires brand, summer & winter, in Ukraine for 15 years (Pajero 3) and in Russia (summer and winter) for 15 years (Land Cruiser 120). Overall, the used tires handle well considering the weight I put in the vehicle (400/500 kg) and how bad are the roads in Ukraine (including the Carpathian Mountains) and Moldova (the worse I have seen in that part of the world, except for Georgia-the country). The overall correct handling could be due to the air suspension on that Land Cruiser. I don't think I would buy that type of tires. Probably the Michelin CrossClimate 2 SUV.

Despite those tyres provide driving confidence, they got very damaged before 3 years of use and 30.000 km with no offroad use. Also, Continental rejected the warranty request.

Prado 150 Series. Did 120K on Pirelli Scorpion ATR 112T M+S. In reality it is overdue for replacement as front wheels started to squeak when turning, even though the tread has not touched the indicator yet. I normally do 95% on the road and 5% off roading. Absolutely love them

2008 120Prado gxl came fitted with these tyres. I've not had a problem with them despite towing a van on Birdsville track, Kimberley tracks, Pilbara tracks, Hammersley ranges, Oodnadatta Track, Flinders ranges etc. No punctures, no chipping, no de-lamination, no blow outs in any of the three sets I've used over the years,
Wet handling is good - we have lots of roundabouts on the Sunshine Coast, and yes it does rain heavily here. Comfort and low noise level is good, and wear is excellent, as is road feed back.
I normally run the tyres at the pressures recommended by Toyota except for lower pressures off-road.
I see many people hate these tyres, and I can only assume they run them at too high pressures, particularly in the wet.
I've never had an uncomfortable moment with these tyres and will continue to use them as they work fine for me. No, I don't work for Dunlop or Toyota.
