Peugeot 206 GTi 137 Tyre Review Highlights
Very good wet grip, good dry grip, safe understeer balance, stable at high speed (180-200 kph). Very soft sidewall, which makes them quite comfortable (going over bumps), but the handling is vague - definitely not "sporty", as the name suggests. I tried to compensate for the soft sidewall with overinflating front tyres, but it helped only a bit, even though Peugeot 206 S16 weighs only 1050 kg. I don't comment on the noise, because in this car, the engine and wind noise are louder (i can hear tyres only when I have semi-slics on). I would recommend these to people that need safe tyres with lots of wet grip for low price and do not want "sporty" tyres.
I was looking for a good handling, good feedback sporty tyres with good wet grip, to use them daily and on wet track days. Unfortunately, the sidewall is way too soft for the track - it ruins suspension upgrades. I won't wait until the tread wears out, so I will sell used RainSports 5, and swap them for Kumho Ecsta HS52 or Vredestein Ultrac.

Outstanding grip on dry and wet roads ,compared to my previous Cinturato P1 and Turanza ER300.The Turanza is also a good tire when they heat up is almost like ths CPC5 but just in dry,in wet CPC5 beats all

Great value, impressive wet grip and comfort from a fairly low profile tyre.
Not sporty in any way. Soft thin sidewalls give very vague steering feel and much movement from direction change or heavy braking.
Certainly not an eagle f1 or pilot sport. But a good alround normal driving tyre.
Superb value so long as you dont want sporty tyres with good steering feel.

Put these on the back of a 206 (front has Falken 912) and it was dreadful to drive at first.
Being quite soft and having tall tread blocks doesn't help with how it felt in the bends, literally felt like it was sliding all the time.
I swapped them round to give them some action through the front wheels (heavy braking, cornering, and some light spinning from a start) to try and scrub them off a bit, get them bedded in.. Now they're like a different tyre. Really keyed into the road in the dry, in the wet they're as good as my other car on Conti 3's (for half the price)
I'm going to pick another 2 up and move these back to the back. Put the new ones straight onto the front to get them scrubbed off straight away.

These are the first Premium tyres I have ever purchased, with many pros and cons.
Handling & Performance - With a reasonable tread these were awsome on cornering and grip but they grip the road too well which leads to problems with handling on deviations in the road surface. This is something that gets worse the more the tyre wears. Accelerating from a standstill however has resulted in zero skids even in the wet. I have noticed however that the tyres are not very good in the snow. They can get up a hill no problem but even light breaking on compacted snow causes the ABS to kick in.
Comfort - The compound of the tyres must be quite hard as you do feel every bump and pot hole which does not make for a comfortable ride. As a result, i've had to replace 2 front coil springs and an ABS ring within the last 12 months.
As these are run flat tyres you can safely drive them to a garage when flat without having to lower your speed to a crawling pace or shread the tyre. With budget or some mid range tyres I used to constantly get screw and nail punctures but in the 2 years I've had these i've not had one.
Overall - Great for grip, reasonable tyre wear, hard to puncture but poor handling below 3m tread (pulling side to side).
