They are good tires. They are very noisy when they become a little worn. And they are NOT run flats

I use these tires for all but winter, when I switch over to my Pirelli WeatherActive tires.
These tires have been very good, nice precision, good handling, and very good in the rain.
These tires also handle the all wheel drive warmed over 3.0 twin turbo V6 of this SUV, rather well.

Dry grip was great. Out of every complaint I’ve ever heard about RSA’s, it was never “they don’t do well under good conditions”. The wet grip is not bad either, although perpendicular movements tend to break out the tire in heavy rain, though I would think that is expected. Tire wear was fantastic, I’ve hit and jumped my fair share of curbs, potholes, ruts, exposed railroad tracks, and even a sinkhole in the road, and there were no missing chunks or odd wear or tear. In comparison to a Reliant set I had on the back, which was chewed up in about a year, the RSA’s have done fantastically.

These tyres have so much grip, that the human brain cannot resist such lateral acceleration. And I am not exaggerating.
As you can see in the attached photo, I raced a slalom last week with my Renault Supercinq GTR.

Due to the tremendous acceleration, I was instantly knocked out and I have just woken up again 5 minutes ago.
They even tell me that I didn't finish last in the slalom... I don't know if it's true or not, because I was unconscious.

In every case, here you have the link to my run in the slalom:
My wife and I love these tires! The most positive attributes are the smooth ride, very low road noise, handling and value for what you pay. There is really only one area I would love to see increase and that would be a higher mileage warranty, but then as we all know, that will reflect lower handling. Overall, these are the best tires we have owned and are ready to purchase our next set of Falken 960's. Just remember, the tire is the most important part of your vehicle, as it is the ONLY part of the vehicle that touches the road.

I purchased these tires to replace a set of Michelin Latitudes and noticed the difference in grip immediately. With mostly interstate miles under my belt, a mix of backroads, and even the occasional dirt road, these tires exceeded my expectations. The grip in all environments made them an excellent choice for all seasons.

I’ll be honest—I’ve put these tires through their paces. Over 37,000 miles, they held up remarkably well with even wear patterns. I’ve driven them across the country multiple times, including during a blizzard in Flagstaff, and never once did I feel concerned about losing traction.

However, these tires are straightforward when it comes to wear. Once the wear markers are gone, it’s time to replace them. I recently drove through a snowstorm and, sadly, their performance disappointed me—but to be fair, the DWS indicators were completely worn.

After careful consideration, I’ve retired my old set and replaced them with the same model. That alone speaks volumes about how much I trust these tires. I highly recommend them.

Not a terrible option if you're looking for essentially a summer tire. These claim to be all seasons but the snow and ice grip are awful. You constantly are loosing the front end and suffering from under-steer under the littlest of throttle input in the snow. Even when just coasting, when on snow these do not feel planted and feel vague. I have even lost traction in the wet when it was room temperature outside numerous times. My stock Honda civic shouldn't be able to accidentally peel out for a continuous 3 seconds straight just from a 1/2" puddle of water. The dry traction is solid, nothing to write home about but its one of the few decent things with these tires. Good handling and feedback too, average comfort.

To summarize:
Pros: Good handling and feedback, good return to center with the steering wheel. Good dry grip.
Neutral: Average comfort and noise, nothing really noteworthy in those departments. Decent wear as well.
Cons: Awful Snow and ice traction, not up to par with new England winters. Bad wet traction too.

Would I recommend these?: Only under one condition, you've got a good deal on these and live in let's say Arizona or any other hot, dry climate where rain and snow are very very uncommon. If you're paying say $650+ for a set of these, you likely have much better options for that price and should just get real summer tires that preform well. If you live in New England like I do, I would highly recommend almost any 3pmss all weather tire over these. Do not buy these if you have a lot of snow and plan on using thee during the winter. I was happy to finally get rid of these when I did.

Overall I am satisfied about my decision to buy them, but I was disappointed about the fact they wore very fast, faster than expected, after 58 000 km - compared with the Continental stock tires. I had another pairs of tires ALL SEASONS CONTINENTAL ALLSEASONCONTACT (I was happy with them, too). Even now, after 2 years, on dry surface the Hankooks are almost freezing my Duster (1.6, 4 x 4, petrol, 2016) when a person is appearing from nowhere at a pedestrian cross (having 50 km/h). During work time I am driving 200 km / 5 days. On highways wet surfaces I had full control. I drove on mud, too, they kept me going forward. Slowly. but surely. In summer times I am going to mountains roads and hilltops, nothing special, no aggressive off-road, just pebbled, dust and forest roads. On forest and pebbled roads they behaved very well, but there were noisy. I used them in the winter on snow on Transfagarasan from Capra Chalet till Salvamont Arges refuge Cota 2000. I won`t buy them again because they wore (as I mentioned) too fast.

These 225/45/19 Continental tires are not suitable for an X1. The comfort is basic and they are too stiff. The driving becomes too nervous. Very poor directional stability. The trajectory must be corrected regularly, even after having revised the alignment of the car. After 33,000 km, I have to replace them...
The original tires were Pirelli Cinturato P7. These tires are even worse. I had to replace them after only 21,000 km of discomfort.

Without question the worst tires I have ever purchased. Do not buy these tires. One month old and one tire required 2.75 weight. Another required 5 ! Absolute junk!
