I have changed all four tyres (Dunlop Sport 1) today on my Passat. Really surprised when I checked the date of last tyre replacement.
Bridgetone (Rear) lasted for 37,400 miles compared to Dunlop Sport 01(Front) 26,000 miles.
But Dunlop tyres are quieter and comfortable to drive compare to Bridgetone tyres.

Fiat Sedici 16v 4x4

We have these tyres (OEM) on a 2 year old (6000mile) Fiat Sedici 16v 4x4. I was just intriged as to what they were as I hadn't seen them before and I keep reading that 4 wheel drive with 'ordinary' tyres in poor conditions are worse than 2 wheel drive with winter tyres. In general use they're just another tyre however the following might be of interest if you have a small/medium 4x4/SUV with 'ordinary' tyres.
Remember the very poor weather and snow in the UK in December 2009/January 2010.I had no choice but to drive (to/from work)in the worst snow/ice/weather conditions for decades. The Fiat on these tyres with 4 wheel drive engaged and locked never missed a beat. It regularly climbed a 30degree snow/ice covered slope from a dead start and without a hint of slipping. I drove 25miles at 1 am on minor 'B'roads in 6" snow with it still falling in order to get home with no problems and drove round and through the carnage that was Basingstoke. This car on these tyres made some very serious (and expensive)4x4s look very silly in deed. The Fiat is by no means an off-roader but with these tyres I was very surprised (and very pleased) at its performance in snow, ice and the subsequent 'melt'. I wouldn't suggest you buy these tyres purely for their 'winter' performance but they might be worth considering given that they seem to work well with small 4x4s in poor conditions.

Very noisey at motorway speeds otherwise very satisfactory

Great mileage from these tyres, 26k on fronts and 45k on rears.
Grip in the dry and wet is fairly reliable, only on full lock on damp roundabouts does it ever start to slide and being a fairly solid tyre the feedback from the road is good in most conditions. Toward the limit, the wet grip suffers quite badly but the dry grip is almost identical.
However the road noise on motorways is bad, anything above 50mph gives a lot of roar except on newly laid tarmac.
For lifespan, I would buy again. For noise, I would look to a quieter option.

Excellent tyres. Dry grip is brilliant, turn in precise and the tyre gives great confidence. In the wet the tyre feels pretty much the same, but with slightly less grip as you would expect. The tyre is also very hard wearing, and very quiet. It is well worth spending the extra for these tyres as they are worth every penny.

Pros: Very good grip, even at the last seconds of their life with the sides worn to the limit
Amazing cornering feeling the limit of the car
Never felt them overheat
Never had one flat
Cons: Need their time to warm up in cold temperature
Was expecting them to last a bit longer
A bit noisy, especially when worn

My Seat Ibiza came with these fitted as standard. Excellent tyres. Just reached 39,000 and changed the front tyres today. Same again. Highly recommended

I do a lot of mileage so wanted a quiet, comfortable, branded tyre and after some research and reading reviews online I opted for 4 of these. Good grip in the dry and wet, only done less than 1000 miles on them so can't really comment on wear rate. They seem quite comfortable but I am disappointed with the road noise - no quieter than the Avons I had on previously and are only really quiet on new, smooth tarmac so all in all I probably wouldn't buy these again.

Got these on my Mondeo. Had them on an Astra, on a Vectra, and my folks have them on a Mazda 2. I recommend them to anyone.
I've tried all the "best" tyres including the Goodyear Eagle F1-A, Vredestein Ultrac, Hankook Ventus Prime and the likes, and I keep on coming back to the ER300.

Heard these tyres were good so put them on the front of the car when the factory fitted Michelin Primacy's wore down at about 22000. I didn't notice any increase in roadnoise compared to the Michelin's. I felt the straight line grip is good on accelerating and braking in both dry and in the wet. In actual fact for a 'summer' tyre they performed quite well in the Scottish snow recently. However, there are times when my driving is easy and others when it is more spirited. It is at the more spirited times on the same roads and corners that I drive regluarly, that I have been really disappointed with the cornering feel from the tyre and have noticed some sideways slipping even in dry conditions. Perhaps if you don't corner like I do at times then these tyres will suit, However, I'm about to replace the rear 2 Michelin's and will move these Bridgestone to the back and try something new on the front. Wear - down to 6mm after about 6000 miles, 3.5months.
